...I ordered my dress!! After spending many moons procrastinating I went and ordered my dress!!

My sis/MOH, BM/bff and my good friend/DOC and I (hey we're Jamaican, we have to have more than one job.. ) went to RK bridal last friday showed them the dress and then met my parents for my mom's bday dinner at Madiba in Fort Greene

..the weirdest/fated thing of all is that it's due to arrive (supposedly) on my parent's 30th wedding anniversary! If that isn't a good luck omen I don't know what is!

Sooo...i'm posting a rotten pic b/c my BM who usually ALWAYS carries her camera didn't and my sis must be on the mary jane b/c she's forgetting everything, didn't bring one So my friend took one w/ her camera phone but there is one of the dress on the model in my album if you want to see it done any justice

OMG WOW that dress looks STUNNING on you, its fit perfectly to your body and what a gorgeous shape.

Ok the part about 'youre jamaican and have more than 1 job just reminds me of the 'in living color' skit

thanks a million...I agonized over this decision. I never start a topic and my last two have been over the dress situation. Oh and the dress has really good boning built in the bodice so i'm gonna eat my @ S S off on the wedding day!

Of course I got it from the skit...funny thing about it is that it is soooo true We always have a side hustle, gotta send the ducats back to the mother land!

thanks again ladies! I'm so happy that's finally done, got my preacher man, my honey and got my dress if all else fails on 5/26/08 there's gonna be a stinking wedding!!

I can't take all the credit, those black things are binderclips used to hold me in there. Trust me they don't make kid size 14 wedding dresses

oh and I must add that my favorite person to work with so far w/ this wedding stuff is right behind me, Janice! If you go to RK ask for her, she's laid back but beams like a mom when you put on the good ones. She remembered me everytime I went in..such a doll that woman
