So, in light of my health issues, family obligations and my gazillions doctor's appts - we paused wedding planning for two months. BUT - yesterday FH went and blocked hotel rooms. It feels good to just be back to doing something for the wedding even if it is just him signing a hotel contract - we went with Hilton Garden Inn (over LaQuinta and teh Hampton Inn which were our other choices).
Now hopefully some time in Sept I will finally at least look for BM dresses and flowers. Only 8.5 months to go!
Any other May brides that havent seen a BM dress or florist yet?

That's great! It feels so nice to start getting things done after a dry spell of no wedding planning! My MOH chose the dress she loved but none of my other girls have seen it in person or tried it on. I'm getting married the week after you.

I booked my florist a while ago but haven't shopped for BM dresses just yet......I think we are going to in Sept

I am pretty excited about it and . . . I leave for West Palm Beach tomorrow morning to be a BM in my friend's wedding there on Saturday! I love attending other people's wedding - and being a BM rocks!
p.s. also glad to see everyone doesn't pick BM dresses 9 months in advance. these salons scare me sometimes.

dont worry - i ordered BM dresses in May for my 12/5 wedding - they are Bill Levkoff and should be in within the next 2 weeks....so i did them 7 months in advance and they will be here 2.5 months early

I'm in may and I did my BM dresses but that was only cause my sis/moh picked them out for me..... I had one florist appt so I wouldn't worry about it....I'm on the slower planning pace.

Hey there, I'm in June and I havent done flowers or BM dresses yet. Hopefully I will be tackeling that soon. but done worry everything will work out :) Think positive Hope are are feeling better!!!
