Finally...the builders we want for our florida home, there website is up..here are some pics

As many of you know, FI and I bought land last year in North Port FL. For about a week the website has been down.

I checked today and its up. Here are the pics of the model of the house we are having built.

Front of the house

Lanai and pool

Dinning room

bedroom/office (there are 2 guest bedrooms)

front of house

another pool shot

master bath. What you dont see is the shower. its a walk in shower on the left hand side

master bedroom - there is a sliding glass door that leads to the pool

family room

nook

kitchen

outside - there is a huge sliding glass door that is actually a hide away door which means that entire wall opens up. that leads to the living room

there is another bathroom but no pic of it. its a basic bathroom. its located between the 2 guest bedrooms.

we're having an additional bedroom and bathroom added onto the construction

floor plans

I know its really nerve racking. FI is hoping to get a transfer and once we have the official transfer we can break ground on the house. We've been socking money away for the wedding and for the house. We're hoping to break ground early next year.

I am so excited. We were told it will take 6 - 8 months for the house to be built. So we're looking at one more year here. THen no more snow for us

Re: Finally...the builders we want for our florida home, there website is up..here are some pics

Thanks everyone

OMG the Space, its a quarter acre. We're in talks with the woman who owns the lot next to ours and seeing if we can buy her out which will give us 1/2 an acre of land.

If the talks dont work out, and things go according to a plan we have now we're going to try to pick up 1/2 acre of land later this year and build on the 1/2 acre and then many years down the road sell our 1/4 acre.

everyone is welcomed to our place in FL. The pool, BBQ and bar will be waiting

Re: Finally...the builders we want for our florida home, there website is up..here are some pics

thanks everyone...

our friends live down there and we've been down 2 times already.

I have pictures of our land, I'll have to scan them. Its nothing fabulous. Actually looks like a forest. But its 6 blocks from our friends and we were told we wont have our first neighbor for at least 5 years. 6 blocks away by our friends, houses are going up everyday.

I just cant wait to get away from this cold and snow
