Before getting engaged, I had no desire for china. But since getting engaged, i have fallen in love with two Vera Wang sets. FH and I already live with each other and have everything we need. We didnt have much our registry (just upgrading some pots and pans, plus the Le Creuset Dutch oven and Kitchenaid stand mixer I have always wanted) so I decided to add the china.

My mother purchased all of our place settings so we really had no choice. We just registered for serving pieces.
I think it's a waste since I'll probably use it once a year if that but she wasn't taking no for an answer lol
Lol my mom is the same way!! I know shell prob be the only one to buy it but I still feel its crazy to spend so much money on something that wont get much use.
I know.. it didn't make sense to me either but she insisted on it lol

it was actually the very last thing in the world that i wanted on our registry (thought it was a big waste). but then i found a vera wang pattern i just fell in love with. i couldnt believe when we put the stemware and silverware with it how beautiful it was. i started crying in the store (so embarrassing).
and i know noone will buy it for us - but at least we'll get a discount if we purchase it ourselves. 1 piece at a time.
LOL which style?

I think I am going to just get the plates at Macy's and not the set. BB&B only sells the sets. I don't like the little teacups and saucers. FH already has a everyday dinner set from SANGO that I really like but they don't make the pattern anymore.
