I went to David's Bridal yesterday in hopes that I could exchange my dress for an Oleg Cassini that I LOVE they told me that they could not take it back because I bought the dress in May. the manager gave me the phone number of who I assume is her higher authority. I called and left a message. I am praying that they will allow me to do this. Small vent...but I am seriously hoping that this happens! Fingers crossed! TIA
** They told me no...she put me through to the District Manager and I left a message..I'm really upset...I don't know what to do...she told me no bride wants a dress that was hanging in a closet for three months I'm so sad
****DB just called me and told me they will exchange my dress!!!! I wanna do cartwheels down the street I'm so happy!!!!

Re: Fingers Crossed
HMMM .. they should let you, My sis bought her dress at DB and then exchanged it for another one and it was months apart from when she purchased it. Since it hadnt been altered they took it back and the one she boght she cheaper than the orginial. If you are spending more money I cant see why they wouldnt let you

If it hasn't been altered yet, I don't see why they wouldn't let you. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

doesnt DB sell dresses off the rack? so couldnt they be selling someone a dress that was hanging in a closet or on a rack for 3 months anyway?

Re: Fingers Crossed * Update
That is total BS!!!! Brides purchase sample sale dresses, why wouldnt they want yours thats like new and not even altered. When the DM calls, if he says no, tell him that you are going to write everyone at corporate a letter stating how sad you are and telling all your friends to not go to DB because of the bad CS and how they ruined your day. He will let you switch it then.
Once, i had a horrible experience with 1/800 Flowers.com and I wrote literally everyone in corporate a letter (from the president to the head of the CS - like 5 poeple) and i got a call right away with apologies galore and a free 100 gift card.

write everything you want to say down and keep the paper handy at all times so that when the DM calls you, you have it ready and can come at him with these points if s/he says no
