What kind of cake did everyone get or will get. Does any one know of a good bakery. I was thinking maybe in the shape of a #1. I live in Bayside so not too far out.

You can order it fron Waldbaums I think.. Also get something called a smash Cake... ( it is really a little cake that the baby can smush and get it all over with out anyone eating it....Or isn't there a bake shop in Bay Terrace? Also there in Adrians on 73rd and Bell

There's an awesome bakery in Whitestone called Storks. I highly recommend them, we always used them when I lived in Queens. If you want to come a little east, Dortonis in Levittown was recommended to me and I got my daughters Christening cake there. It came out beautifully and it was really delicious. Their cakes are heavenly.

OMG, Elizabeth you have me craving Storks right now! My father still gets me a special treat for Christmas from there every year. So I can second that suggestion!
Also Buttercookie Bakery on Jericho Tpke. in Floral Park makes amazing cakes too. (across form Floral Terrace)

There is the Cake Box in Bay Terrace but I nevered ordered a cake from them. Where in Whitestone is Storks & they do a #1?
