first bride of the week *~ QOTD 1/5/14~*

First I would like to thank you ladies for allowing me to kick this off!!!

So as I. wake up this morning I am in a little pain from getting my tooth pulled yesterday. and it makes me thankful for fh. we started yesterday off fighting bc I have really bad anxiety and I tend to be a bit snippy I'll admit it, but after my surgery he was very sweet!!


So my first question is what does fh do to take care of u when your sick or injured, what's the sweetest thing he's done.

yesterday was the cutest, while I was knocked out getting my tooth pulled he had an hr to kill so he went to rite aid and got me a doggie stuffed animal but they didn't have a get well soon one, so hewent to the ffirst aid section and got gauze tape and wrapped it a around the dogs head likehe got his tooth pulled! he even got the same side as my tooth! it was so funny, creative and cute! I loved it! so did our dog. when we went upstairs to talk to his father the dog ate it!! he thought it was one of his stuff toys! lol I'll try to add a picture of it from before it got eaten!
when we got home he got my meds, my made me ice packs( which he found the coolest thing in fb btw, take sponges wet them but thenin a zip lock bag and freeze it... much cheaper) and then he gave me my pudding pack to eat and helped me with my gauze. he doesn't do things like this everyday, things like the teddy bear. so it's more special and a cute surprise!

i give up I tried 4x to add the pic! sorry!

Yay the first bride of the week and the first question!

Hope you're feeling better, having teeth pulled is the worst!

I have to say FH really knows how to take care of me when I don't feel well. I will send him out for meds and he comes back with bags of my favorite foods or items he thinks will make me feel better. Most of the time if I'm really not feeling well I have no appetite to eat most of the stuff he picks up, but I don't tell him that lol

FH wouldn't be that creative but he does go out to get me anything I would need or gets me things to make me more comfortable. It's funny because when I'm sick I just want to be left alone & FH wants to like cuddle lol. Def doesn't work if we are both sick which just happened. I'm still trying to kick this cold.

Hope you feel better, having teeth pulled is the worst. I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at the same time and that was awful lol.

I don't get sick often (knock on wood lol) but when I do, I love to cuddle b/c I'm always cold so it's like 1,000x worse when I am sick and FH always snuggles with me to keep me warm and pets my hair which usually puts me to sleep....& when ur sick peaceful sleep is hard to come by so I'm very thankful for that!

As for my FH... I get really bad headaches and he will just lay with my and rub my head until I fall asleep pretty much. He's good at knowing when I want to be cuddled and when I want to be left alone. I have to say the best thing he's ever done was when he came into the city with me when I had a job interview. I wasn't really interested in this job to begin with and then had a major anxiety attack while getting on the train (I am not a fan of traveling alone). He met me at the next stop and came into the city with me. While this isn't really a 'being sick' kind of thing, anxiety sucks and it was nice having him walk me through the day and tell me it'll be okay.

I totally understand anxiety, I have it too and I can't control my attitude and he then.he gets mad bc I'm yelling at him.... that's something we r both working on!

I am so sorry about your tooth. I had dental work done before Thanksgiving and my face was bruised and swollen for literally 3 weeks.

When I am sick it is a little difficult for the FH to take care of me since we are in different states at the moment. But he normally asks my mom to check up on me, pick me up some stuff or he has even sent me a little over night care package of medicine, soup and some 'trashy' magazines to read. When we are together and I get sick he tries to make me soup, gets me medicines and lets me watch whatever I want on tv (he is normally in control of the tv esp when we are in PA)

we always joke that out kids are going to screwed! my anxiety and his paranoia..... they are gonna be popping crazy pills at birth! lol

lol ...my love bought me some pepto-bismol when i was feeling queezy one day.... i have never taken the stuff before because I never have stomach issues really.... well 1 nap later i woke up with severe angioedema and the worst abdominal pain I have ever felt in my life: felt like someone ripped out my intestines/stomach/colon and were stomping on my lovely organs :)....after trying to kill me he sweetly drove to the ER where I got good old shot of Triamcinolone amongst a goodie bag of drugs to take home. He made me lots of soup and gave me back rubs for the next few days hehe.
