I think its totally up to you. Some prefer that people join them for the first song and others want to dance the entire first song alone.

I'm actually going to have the song at the Church ceremony too. Why not? It's OUR day! :-)

How are you changing it for the church? I love the song too and thought about it but our priest stressed the importance of having a song that had a religious aspect to it versus..well..I guess anything non-religious. If we were able to satisfy both, I would really like it. What a sweet story you have to go with it!
