Our DJ suggested not ending the reception with an upbeat, dance-crazy type song but instead ending with a more subtle, relaxed type song to wrap things up. Something to sort of tie the night together.

I thought At Last might be the perfect song for a perfect ending to a perfect night. Plus, get the connection .. At Last, last song? Silly, I know, but it was just a thought.

That's a great song! Does Barry White do a version of it too?

Also, can anyone tell me where to find 'love is patient, love is kind.' I tried to look it up the other night, but couldn't find it.

True Companion by Marc Cohen.

This was a difficult choice for us because we also loved:

Your only 'professional' obligation is to give enough notice for days off needed for your 'honeymoon' or to arrange for coverage on your position if your job warrants it.

That was our exact line of thinking too!! :) Besides, won't we be interrupted throughout the song for pictures anyway?

Anyway, turns out I was looking up the right verses. What threw me off was seeing the word 'Charity' so many times instead of 'Love' when I quickly glanced over. I never bothered to read it carefully. Well, I did finally go back and re-read it, and noticed the difference. I certainly do need to find another reference! :)

Jeremy has always been my amazing man-- so when the song amazed by Lonestar came out( way before we were engaged) I knew it was the song--Jeremy differed---until the night he proposed it was the last song we heard in the car before we got home and I looked over and saw him crying--- and then he proposed that night--so it was an easy decision after that ;-)
