'How Deep Is The Ocean' Etta James (written by Irving Berlin) I wanted a song that was classic..not the typical ones you hear on the radio every day.

Re: First Dance
I am gonna have to check all these songs out later when my FH arrives!!!! :)
Our song is Truly, Madly Deeply by Savage Garden. The song reminds us of when we first started dating and it has memories for us, so we may use that!!!

Re: First Dance
Are any of you gurls using a more non-traditional 1st dance song? songs for example, dont mention the word 'love' at all and just very meaningful without the mushiness ?
im just wondering b/c i think we might use Incubus - Dig .... The words and the video (although weird) are very very touching and heartfelt

Re: First Dance
Our Song is 'Loving a Person' by Sarah Groves, she is a christian contemporary artist.
We want to be introduced to our reception like the party we want it to be. It's a toss up between 'Celebration' by Kool and the Gang and 'Groove is in the Heart' By Dee Lite.
