our first song is 'you had me from hello' and we are looking at 'when I look into your eyes' by firehouse for our official wedding song.

BUT we just realized that FH's best friend used it in their wedding. ugh, should we keep it? we are already sharing our wedding date with a friend of FH's, I dunno how I feel about sharing a wedding song too.

Our song was Sade - No ordinary Love

I also love that Firehouse song! That one and 'I Live My Life For You' are gorgeous songs and not overplayed!

We did 'For once in my Life' by Stevie Wonder & Tony Bennett.

I loved it. Really sexy and easy to dance to.

Are any of you gurls using a more non-traditional 1st dance song? songs for example, dont mention the word 'love' at all and just very meaningful without the mushiness ?

im just wondering b/c i think we might use Incubus - Dig .... The words and the video (although weird) are very very touching and heartfelt

i LOVE that song by Incubus. When we met with our videographer for our final meeting, he showed us a new video he had done recently and that song was part of it. I think that would be great and different song to use.

Our song is From This Moment On by Shania... just her version though, not the duet with the guy (I forget his name!)

My dad says he wants to dance to 'I Loved Her First' by Heartland. It's country, which I hate, but it sounds like a nice song.

Not sure about entrance songs though. I really like 'I Will Go With You' by Donna Summer because I love 'Con Te Partiro' by Andrea Bocelli and it's the same song only more upbeat and in english. If I don't choose that for the entrance song, I definitely want it played during the reception!

Weddingchannel.com has a big list of music to use for each part of the wedding and you can narrow it down by type of music, tempo, when it will be good to play, etc. I find it very helpful!
