So... FH and I are having a hard time deciding on a first dance song. Our song. The problem is we both have totally different tastes in music. This is one thing we are total opposites on. He is more of a goth music guy and am more emo/rock... TO be honest i cant stand most music that is out today. I miss bands like Goo Goo Dolls lol.

At first I liked his song better, the melody, but then yours has better lyrics. His are just repeated multiple times. It might get boring to watch dance the entire time. His, you have to dance a little faster to too though I think.
Dance them both out and see which one works/feels better for you guys.
Both are good though. It's a personal preference really.

Since i am doing most of the planning i let him pick the song. He went with a country song that i would have never picked but its his personal touch...happy medium i guess....lol

I got very lucky with our first dance song. We listened to a bunch of songs together and actually ended up choosing the same one bc the words truly represent out entire relationship!
