First date-spinoff to first time

Because of Meg's thread, i thought of another post.

Talk about your first date with FH, or the first night you two met or whatever you would like. Talk about that first night that brought you to where you are now.

-I had known who he was for years, grew up two blocks away, always thought he was really hot and he delivered to me for 3-4 years.

One night at a club he was there with ppl i knew, i was there with somebody he knew. He had his friend come over first to ask me questions about him(which he denied he did for a while lol) then he basically walked over and was like lets get a drink. We talked for a while that night, then we were all leaving together, his friend pulled my friend and was like we'll drive u to her car let him walk her to her car. He held my hand and gave me his coat...he wouldn't even get in the car while we waited for my friend. She then called and asked if i wanted to drive him home and she'll go home with the other ppl since she knew them really well. Fi asked if i can drive around for a bit so we can talk, i did for a while...i had to use the bathroom so used his when i dropped him off, then when i was leaving he just kissed me, and after our short sweet kiss i went home.

Next day he called and called early, but it was a snow storm, we said we'll wait to see how bad it gets and it got bad, he even got stuck at his friends house. Next day he called again and said he wanted to see me, luckily my aunt borrowed my car and had dug it out, so i went to pick him up since i had a truck and it was perfect for all that snow and we went to this small little lounge, stayed there for hours, had such a great time, we stayed talking until 4am and he had to wake up at 6 for work lol.

My former FI was there (NYPD) partially what caused us to break up - he suffered a nervous breakdown and PTS (Post trauatic stress)

Anyway - FH and I were working together, I didnt know where former FI was for over 12 hours -

We bacame really great friends and stayed that way for YEARS before dating/moving in together / getting engaged, etc

ETA: Our first REAL date was in Dec of 2001 some Brad Pitt movie that i cant even remember the name of - he was a spy and half the movie was color and half in B & W -

we actually were talking about this today FH always makes fun of me..

i had never been out to eat with a boy ALONE ( i was 17) and so he took me out to Red Lobster and i hated seafood so i got chicken fingers and a salad i was also afraid to eat infront of a guy so i just 'picked'

Now we go out and i get the Surf and Turf baby!!! theres no holding back.. we have farting contests (TMI i know) but i will never ever forget that first date!! it was just AMAZING!!

ETA: we had known each other for about 2 years prior and were kinda friends but this was like a big scandal b/c we were from 2 differnt groups of people in HS so it was going against the grian but it really worked out!

Well actually the first day spring semester of 04 he was sitting next to me the first day of class. Then we just started stalking eachother. lol seriously. Then 1 day my friend embarrassed me on the stairwell and asked him his name and then he start speaking to me every once n a while.

Then midterms came and I stopped going to class. After Easter break I saw him and we talked and exchanged numbers. Our first date was a few days after we exchanged numbers and I went over to one of his families houses and we spent the day playing around and watching movies and making out! lol!

Our first date was the movies. We saw The Mummy Returns and I was so nervous that I didn't pay attention to the movie at all. FH was nervous too and after the movie, we didn't know what else to do, so he took me home. I thought he didn't like me and was upset, but we talked later that night and he said he really liked me, but he was really shy/nervous. Then we decided to go out on a second date and now here I am engaged to him

yes i was so nervous i dont htink i came out of my shell for like 6 months then when i did hes like this is so much better!!!

and yes we were the rebels... i we both got the 'are u sure u want to do that' oh and he was 'seeing' my best firend and BM before me still a bit uncomfortable. but oh well.. so yes it was awkward for a while. but now its normal

But right before we started dating, i had seen him on myspace and i was like omg its him i havent seen him in a while, and i kept checking his page. My friends knew him so i mentioned him to them a few times...Also, two weeks before we started talking in the club that night, i was at the same club and they have a photographer there who takes pics of people in there and then post it the next day on their site. When i checked the next day i saw he was there and was sooooo upset that i didn't even see him. I thought great there goes my chance.

In that class I got pissed off because he wouldnt pay me any attention no matter how hard I tried, he was always texting someone and I figured he had a girlfriend (which he did). After we started talking we just started taking the bus and train home together! Damn I love that man! Even thought right now he's gettin on my nerve

Oh i forgot...The night in the club was 4 days before valentines day, and after 30 mins of talking he asked if i wanted to go to dinner with him on valentines day, i was so shocked. He knew who i was for years and said he always had a thing for me. I was surprised he even knew i was alive...He even remembered where i lived and a bunch of other stuff.

Too bad for him, he didn't know when he asked me to dinner that my bday is the day after lol, he was probably like great. So now february is crazy for us, because his birthday is also 10 days before mine. ANd with our e-party this february, it will be ALOT
