Because of Meg's thread, i thought of another post.
Talk about your first date with FH, or the first night you two met or whatever you would like. Talk about that first night that brought you to where you are now.
-I had known who he was for years, grew up two blocks away, always thought he was really hot and he delivered to me for 3-4 years.
One night at a club he was there with ppl i knew, i was there with somebody he knew. He had his friend come over first to ask me questions about him(which he denied he did for a while lol) then he basically walked over and was like lets get a drink. We talked for a while that night, then we were all leaving together, his friend pulled my friend and was like we'll drive u to her car let him walk her to her car. He held my hand and gave me his coat...he wouldn't even get in the car while we waited for my friend. She then called and asked if i wanted to drive him home and she'll go home with the other ppl since she knew them really well. Fi asked if i can drive around for a bit so we can talk, i did for a while...i had to use the bathroom so used his when i dropped him off, then when i was leaving he just kissed me, and after our short sweet kiss i went home.
Next day he called and called early, but it was a snow storm, we said we'll wait to see how bad it gets and it got bad, he even got stuck at his friends house. Next day he called again and said he wanted to see me, luckily my aunt borrowed my car and had dug it out, so i went to pick him up since i had a truck and it was perfect for all that snow and we went to this small little lounge, stayed there for hours, had such a great time, we stayed talking until 4am and he had to wake up at 6 for work lol.

FH was really good friends with my brother and always was at my house. And it was comming up to prom and he asked me to go with him. So he said before we go to prom he wanted to go out a few times. Our first date was to the movies to see Analyze This. We weren't really that nervous cause we had hung out before. After the movie we were walking to the bus and he just pulled me into him and started to kiss me in the middle of the parking lot. The rest is history and now were engaged!!!!

We were living in Washington DC (where we met - we met at work), and it was spring time. So, the NCAA tournament was going on. We were both in a work pool (one of the bracket pools), so it gave me a great excuse to get him out and drunk . Anyway, we went out to walk around the monuments of DC (the WWII memorial had just been built) and then after we went and watched a bunch of the games at a sports bar/restautrant. It was such a fun time! I KNEW right then and there that I wanted to be with him (with his ketchup dripping down his chin).
I just had to work on getting rid of his gf! Took 2 months, but I did it!
We've literally been inseperable ever since. Wherever he goes, I go.

Our first date was my first ever real date with a boy - he walked to my house and my mother made him come in and asked him like a million questions ( this was jan 3, 1998 and we were 15). then we took the bus to the movies and watched 'jackie Brown' we both hated it - it took him the entire movie to put his arm around me!
Then we took a cab back to my house ( his mom made him come home early bc he had family over lol) and we talked in front of my house for a little bit but his mom kept beeping him! so i gave him a kiss on the cheek ( i knew my mom was watching lol) and went inside
he wasnt going to call me bc i didnt kiss him on the lips LOL but i called him that night ( i was 15 what did i know?) and here we are nine years later! he asked me to be his girlfriend on jan 16, 98- can you believe i made him get down on one knee???? LOL

He spilled beer on me at a party and it's been love ever since ( ). He was actually the 'new kid' having just transferred to our college and my ex had just introduced us when he spilled beer all over me. Once I was dry and not smelling like a keg, we immediately hit it off.
The following weekend we took him out for his 21st birthday and that night we had our first kiss . And we've pretty much been together ever since
eta: Our first real date though we went to the movies to see Darkness Falls (terrible movies) but we were literally the only people in the theater. We had so much fun though and it was an amazing first date.

our friends introduced us .....i was 16 and he was 23...he was driving to meet us and his car broke down .....we went to pick him up and he said he was hungry ...i worked in burger king at the time so i went and got him food ....lol he kissed me on the spot because i brought him like everything in the store! he said the way to a mans heart is thorugh his mouth ! lmao! so romantic!!
the next week he took me out to this really nice italian restaurant ...i thought i was sooo cool because we drank wine ! and he made me eat seafood for the first time ...i t was so nice ...he wouldnt even let me open my own car door ...oh where have those days gone!

FH and I went to HS together but at that time I was dating someone else. . .(Long Story ) After a couple years after High School, one of my friends had been dating a guy from the fire house. . .and I went with her to hang out there---and that is where I spotted FH! All I kept saying to myself was. . .he is so sweet. . .long story short, we started talking and the rest was history. We went to our first movie---which was ET I don't know why it was playing then. . .but it was Overall, I am so thankful that I went out w/ my friend that night b/c otherwise I would have never met my future

A girl that I worked with years ago used to live in Bayside Queens and had fairly recently moved out to suffolk county. We were hanging out and she invited a bunch of her friends to come out once in awhile I guess to try to merge her old life with her new. I was only 17 at that time!! Anyway we played mini golf and went to the diner to eat. We were flirting the entire night it was fun. My previously mentioned friend didn't like it. HAHAHAHA We hung out a few times over the next year wiht our group of friends but like I said he lived in queens! Eventually I realized the type of person my previously mentioned friend was (lying, jealous, coniviving biotch) and stopped talking to her but I had FHs phone # so I called him and asked him out and we've been together ever since. OH yeah... that girl is so jealous even still!! Which just justified my feelings even more. 'He would dro aything in his life to be with me' yes that is something she has said to my face while I was with him. 'I can't believe he comes out here to see her. I used to have to beg him to come see me! I guess all hail the mighty p***y!'

FH's cousin was dating my best friend.
We spent the summer of 1998 playing the third and fourth wheel to the two of them.

we met at the mall- we were both heading towards the escalator & i guess he didnt see me b/c he was reading a paper & bumped right into me, i was like excuse me! ( i was having such a bad day) he kept apologizing & i thought that was nice of him- then i just said you should buy me lunch for bumping right into me- & he did but i was only joking. we talked for a little bit b/c i had to go back to work, we had a great conversation, exchange numbers & decided to go out that saturday. Saturday came, we were both so nervous- but ended up great we went out to eat- i was glad we had good conversation b/c i was worried that there wouldnt be anything to say! we talked on the phone everyday for a week & asked me out!!!

I actually met FH soph yr in college…but didn’t remember him because I was dating someone at the time. But anyway, I was friends with his friend who we hung out with a lot (FH was at Fairfield at the time). Then I became single…our friend wanted to set me up with someone else so I was invited to play beer pong at the house (FH transferred back to LI). That’s where I re-met FH and he likes to say…that day he saw me and thought he’d known me his whole life and knew he would end up with me. I think FH knew we would end up dating (if not really good friends) when I beat him at beer pong. Hahaha. We hung out from then on…just casually dating/being really good friends even though neither of us were seeing anyone else. We made it official when we brought up the fact that we weren’t hanging out with anyone else. We really would see each other like every day…so it was a little obvious.
Our first real alone “official” date was to a movie…to see Passion of the Christ! Talk about bad date movie! But it was the only movie we both hadn’t seen! Needless to say after the movie…we were just silent. But by then it was okay because we were basically already together.

I love these things...My fh and i met at a club,,I had been checking him out all night (I thought he was really cute) . Later that night, My friend and I went up to him and sandwiched him while dancing (lol). Then we started dancing, and kissed. We exchanged numbers, but heres the funny part,,fh thought i was stuck up and one of those girls who think their **** doesn't stink, and he never called me...(I later found out he threw my number away!!) So the following week i see him at the same club, and I ask 'why haven't you called me?' He lied and said he was busy. So we exchanged numbers again and he called back..he said later he figured he'd give it a shot, and he always said how happy he was that he did!!! We met on his birthday so he always says I was the best birthday gift he had ever received!

Our first date was the movies. We saw The Mummy Returns and I was so nervous that I didn't pay attention to the movie at all. FH was nervous too and after the movie, we didn't know what else to do, so he took me home. I thought he didn't like me and was upset, but we talked later that night and he said he really liked me, but he was really shy/nervous. Then we decided to go out on a second date and now here I am engaged to him
