We met on the street in Brooklyn in October 2004. He was smooth and laid back and I have always had a thing for Brooklyn guys so we exchanged numbers. We talked on the phone non-stop for about a week. Our first date was on Long Island (dinner at Bronx BBQ) then we went to a Halloween party in New Jersey. That same weekend he officially asked me to be his girl lol. Ironically once we started dating, we realized we only lived 15 minutes from each other in Brooklyn. The rest as they say is HISTORY....

Well right after 9/11 I moved to NY and lived in Brentwood for a few months and then moved out to Mastic and got a job working at Burger King..Well my FH use to come in every Tue around 7 and I would end up taking his order.My friend that worked in the kitchen knew my FH best friend and he introduced us.
Well one of the nights FH best friend asked me for my number and I gave it to him hoping that he would give it to FH(we still fight over this one lol) But the Best friend didn't..Well they called me and I hung out with them and best friend kissed me and I said I like your friend not you sry..So he told FH and then we were hanging out in best friends room and he took my phone(we were sitting on the edge of the besd) and I wanted my phone back and I accidently kicked him in the you know what area and I was trying to see if he was okay and we ended up kissing and then through a text message he asked me out while I was in 5th period Italian..and I said yes..

i have written this somewhere else.
so i'm gonna give u the quick run down
we met online before i moved up state, i went to visit, met him at a porn store, then hung out in the wal mart parking lot, the next day he came over was hanging out and in the middle of me talking, he kissed me...
then i lied to him and told him i came home but i was still up there for 3 weeks...
i didnt tell him the truth until about 2 months ago..

I love these things...My fh and i met at a club,,I had been checking him out all night (I thought he was really cute) . Later that night, My friend and I went up to him and sandwiched him while dancing (lol). Then we started dancing, and kissed. We exchanged numbers, but heres the funny part,,fh thought i was stuck up and one of those girls who think their **** doesn't stink, and he never called me...(I later found out he threw my number away!!) So the following week i see him at the same club, and I ask 'why haven't you called me?' He lied and said he was busy. So we exchanged numbers again and he called back..he said later he figured he'd give it a shot, and he always said how happy he was that he did!!! We met on his birthday so he always says I was the best birthday gift he had ever received!
ahaha that is so funny. Awww what a great birthday present. I met FH a few days after his birthday, he was at the club bc a few of his friends took him out that night for his birthday since they weren't able to make it the weekend before for his birthday, so i say the same thing. It was 5 days after his birthday and five days before my birthday...so guess we were eachothers gifts

fh and i met when we were 14 and 15 through friends...we didnt really have an official date i guess bc we were so young, i do remember our first kiss got kind of messed up..we were at this carnival at forest park and when we went to say goodbye i opened my mouth to make out and he went for a tap kiss and i remember being on the phone with my girlfriend later that night and she told me she talked to him and he was mad at himself for messing up the kiss its so cheesy and we were so young

My FH was a member of the gym that I worked at. He had asked me out for months, before I couldn't think of anymore excuses, so I told him we would meet at a bar for a drink. I brought a friend along, of course, and my friend wanted to leave fairly quickly, but I told her to go. We ended up talking the rest of the night, and we hit it off. We have pretty serious ever since (4 1/2 years later)...everyone still gets a kick out of the story!

I meet FH at his cousins funeral. We became really good friends and it just took off from there.

Zepp and I met at college. I wa sdating a mutual friend. He and I broke up.
Zepp and I go to an ice skating rink with another mutual friend on Valentines Day. He totally made me laugh the whole time. At the end of the day he gave me a stuffed animal.
We dated and then broke up after 2 yrs.
After 9/11 (He was in NYPD) I got in touch with him and we started talking again.
I was in Paris Christmas of 04 and walked alone by myself for two hours (do not speak French) and just kept thinking of him. Got home to NY on Jan 2 and called him 1 am thinking that like a lovie he would answer the phone and I would tell him that I was in love with him and wanted him in my life. INSTEAD he was sleeping and I woke him. He said he would call me the next day.
We went on a date the next night to the movies. Had a popcorn fight and in the car at his house I told him how I felt. THat I never wanted to be without him. he felt the same.
That is the beginning to the second time around.

I walked into a bar with my best friend and sat down to order a drink. I noticed the guy sitting across from me and mentioned to my friend that I thought he was really good looking. He overheard me, walked up to me and said, 'Hey, we went to junior high together. You're name is Maryanne, right?' It turns out we did, but weren't friends or anything, and I was then shipped off to a Catholic hight school, so I had no recollection of going to school with him. I was mortified, my jr. high self is not the lasting impression I want to leave on any man!! Anyway, we talked the rest of the night, he called the next day and we have pretty much been together ever since. I can't belive someone I crossed paths with so long ago is now the love of my life, but I like to assume everything happens for a reason!!

We met online (and that is a long story by itself) so our first date was a blind date. I was really nervous, b/c I had just ended a relationship. We met at Applebees. FH had just moved to LI, and had asked me for directions to the resturant. I have NO sense of direction. At all. So naturally I got the poor guy lost. 45 minutes later, he shows up, probably kind of annoyed but not showing it. He ws cute, but kind of shy. We talked a lot, and discovered we basically had had the same life.I liked him, but wasn't entirely sure he was for me.
We went out a few more times after that, but it kind of fizzled. We dated other people. SIx months later, I get an IM from him. He asked how I was doing, and told me a little about work (he was a first-year teacher). He told me that he wanted to take me out again, but wouldn't have time until the school year was over. It was April. I told him to pencil me in for the end of June, and never expected to hear from him again.
Mid-June, I get a phone call asking me out. So I meet FH in this place in Bay Shore. I thought he was adorable and funny and really liked him. We spent hours at that little resturant, just talking. We immediately made plans to see each other again. We always refer to this afternoon as 'our second first date.'
