When I ordered my dress last September the salon told me the dress would be in by April. So, assuming that sometime this month I actually do get the call that the dress is in when would I go for my first fitting? I was thinking June because there's just way too much time to start working on it.
How does this all work?

my 1st dress fitting was about 8-9 weeks before the wedding (November 16), the following one was December 16, then January 4, picked up January 6.

From what I've been hearing, it's good to make an appointment as soon as it comes in. This way u can make sure it's the right dress and they ordered the right size... Then the second fitting a month b4 the wedding , then u go in right b4 the day.

My gown arrived in January so I went to 'visit' with it to make sure it was the correct gown and that it fit. At that time, they told me I should start my fittings about two months prior to the wedding.

I went to try on the dress when it came in and look it over on me. I had my first fitting about 2 weeks ago, and my next fitting is a week before the wedding. Hope that helps!

Hi,
You and me are in the same boat my dress also came in and with a sept wedding I wanted to wait. But they told me I should call them in April for a 1st fitting. I am going to call them and probably do it the first week in May that way I can lose a couple more pounds and will be ready to start the fitting then.

First fittings are two months before, but you can visit sooner.

Ang, My dress came in last week, think i am going to go visit this month, but i am going to schedule fitting for mid june. :)
