I went to my fittings alone. But then again I went dress shopping alone.

awww im sorry! Surprisingly my mom, sis ,and moh where able to make it. Have them come to the 2nd fitting.

I did not go alone for my first but probably will go for the second alone because I am going during the week. If it really saddens you to go alone, try and change the appt and go when some else can go with you. The girls at the p[ace are usually great and take pics. SO if you go alone, have fun and smile. ITS YOUR MOMENT

I went to a few of them alone. I didn't want to post pics so I wasn't worried about pictures. Don't think about the LIW world and getting pictures up....look at it in a positive way. You can have 'alone' time with your dress and have a picture in your mind of what you are going to look like on your special day : )

I picked out my dress with my mom there, but I did go dress shopping alone on another occasion. Then I went alone for fittings too. I'd rather go alone, that way I get things done on my own time, my own way, no opinions, etc. I paid for my own dress anyway, so to me it was just like regular clothes-shopping, I usually go alone to try things on.

I also wanted to add that going alone to my fittings gave me some time to get to know the seamstress well, who is awesome...and she also threw in some alterations for free :)
