FIRST QOTD!!!

Hello Ladies,
It's time for this weeks QOTD! On Friday, I'll nominate next weeks BOTW, and we can keep a running list so that every one gets a turn. OK so...

How involved is FH in wedding planning?!


Mine has said from the beginning that I can do everything, but if I'm unsure about something, then I should consult him. So far, I've found he's getting more involved that what I expected! (Which is totally fine since I think he should know what he's paying for lol)

FIRST QOTD!!!

FH has been SO involved in wedding planning. He's come to all the vendor appointments with me and even went to check out a venue without me because I couldn't go in the middle of the day (it ended up being the venue we fell in love with and booked!). Now with the smaller vendors (limos and flowers), he lets me do the research and he says he'll just show up at the appointments. But he knows I want his input and he wants to be just as involved with the planning too.

I like to call FH my personal DOC. He has been just as, if not more involved than I am. He's right on top of the limos since it's not a big deal to me. He makes spreadsheets for EVERY aspect of our wedding and even picked out our videographer on his own! He constantly sends me pictures of centerpieces and invites. I love how involved he is!! I'm a lucky lady!

He isn't really into it. It's more like I make the appointments and he just follows my lead. He isn't really into the details so I am lucky that my mom, sister, & FSIL are interested so we can do all the girly wedding chat. Some times I wish he was more into it, just so it would be easier to make decisions.

FH is very involved in the wedding planning! He has come to all vendor appointments so far. He is always looking to create excel spreadsheets to keep us organized. He sends me emails to remind me what our next step should be during the planning process. The last email reminded me that we should schedule to take engagement photos, finalize the guest list, start getting addresses and meet with Designs by Rose (florist).

It's all fine by me as long as he doesn't become a groomzilla!....kidding

He's really been so awesome! He knows that having it in a church was really important to my family and I so there was no question that it was going to be in my chuch. He also wanted a say in where we had it so he came with me to those appointments, and luckily we both fell in love with the same one. He basically picked the limos on his own because he knew what car he wanted. I'm going to the photographer today by myself because it's easier if I just go straight from work, but he looked at the websites with me and we decided which style we liked best and he wants me to go over the details with him after. I'm actually really pleasantly surprised at how much he wants to be involved. He came up with the honeymoon on his own when we decided Europe was too much of a tourist destination. When it comes to the little details, he just tells me to use our credit card, but don't go crazy. The only thing that bothers me is that it's been like pulling teeth to get a list of people out of him, but he promised he would have it by the end of the week. Other than that, no complaints!

My FH is super involved. I joke that this is his wedding because I would have had something small and he was like definitely not we are having a BIG wedding. He is involved from sun up to sun down with our plans from vendors to OOT bag stickers! I love that he is into it because it makes this process even more special!

my FH is giving me all control of the wedding...of course i always asks for his opinion, but he wants me to have the exact wedding ive always dreamed of.

FH has been involved in everything! He's come to every appointment (except the dress). I gave him more control over picking the photographer and videographer (even though I chose both of them as the best for us) but he's more interested in those aspects. He wants me to have everything I want so final decisions are all mine, but it's been an awesome experience so far!

My FH has been involved as well! We both have been looking around and we ask eachother whether we like it or not. My FH has been there since day 1. We both went to check out the venue and we both went to make our first deposit! He also went with me to the Bridal Showcase in Stuart Thomas Manor...My FH waas there asking questions and etc. Such a wonderful man =)

FH is sort of involved. He comes to all the appointments with me but lets me handle... everything. All the talking, all the questions all the unless something pops into his head.

He's let me pick the colors. We decided on a venue together. He's letting me take care of the centerpieces and stuff.

His thing is really 'Whatever Katie wants...'

One thing though... that I'm 'giving' (as some people have said) him is the rehearsal dinner space. He LOVES Applebees. So... the RH dinner will be at Applebees. The one in Deer Park has the room that you can rent out in the back and honestly... the man is giving me the wedding I want so... he can 'have' applebees.

FH is definitely involved but has left most of the planning up to me.....
which is good and bad. The good part is that there isn't much to disagree on because he lets me get the last and final word, but the bad part is sometimes I want some direction on certain things and he just says 'well whatever you want' --- great!

But he really is enjoying coming to vendor appointments and we are seeing our first band showcase on Thursday and I told him that's going to be his soul decision! He's excited!

So far he has let me do mostly everything as long as I keep him in the loop, he offers his opinions and suggestions whenever he has one.
We are doing passport STD's and he has been very involved with that... LOL it's the little things.

FIRST QOTD!!!

My FH is more involved than I thought!! I thought I could do it with my mom/sister but, I really love his opinions. I feel better when he is with me making decisions. At this point I let him choose what he wants to be a part of and if he isn't available i'll turn to my mom, MOH or one of my bridesmaids!

It depends on the situation. FH is usually pretty hands off but he's interested in certain aspects. Like the cake, ideas for our wedding video, honeymoon. I didn't expect him to get involved in the details which is why I appreciate any help he offers.

FH is somewhat involved, he wants to know whats going on so I keep him updated, but can't be at every vendor appointment because of his job. He went with me to all venue appointments, and to the photographer since those were our big two that we really cared about. Now that I'm booking flowers he has no interest in being at those appointments lol
