First RSVP 'Cancellation'!

17 days to go. They were one of the first RSVP's - but a 'vacation' came up that they just cant miss - so they will be unable to attend.. thank goodness it was before we made our final headcount in EXACTLY ONE week! Let the cancellations begin....

That is beyond messed up...We already had one no and they used a BS excuse and FHs parents are piisssssed!!!! They have been friends for like 50 years and FHs parents went to every single one of their kids weddings even though they had to go way out of thier way to go and they basically told FMIL that they 'didn't feel like coming'.. I wouldn't notice if these people came or not but how do you tell someone you just don't feel like it???? People got some balls I can tell you that much!!!!!

oh we got those - our RSVP date was the 5th - as of the 6th we had 44 RSVP's missing - we STILL have some missing which we have marked as NO - but on Tuesday we got 2 more RSVP's for NO's (which whatever at 12 days past the RSVP date I would have called them an UNINVITED them anyway) but at 12 days after the RSVP date - obviously you dont care about our relationship - just throw it in the garbage.. KWIM?!

Our Minimum was 125 - we are at 135 adults, 5 kids, 5 vendors so 145 - def made minimum - We will see how inconsiderate people become and then I will turn it into a 2nd TWOTY for 2009 and start taking LIW 09ers there .. fingers crossed if these people cancel they do it before my final count is due...

People who cancel an rsvp on short notice just aren't aware of the costs involved...and the amount of time that goes into planning a wedding. We brides are pretty harsh on ourselves and we pay attention to details that guest wouldn't even notice...only really other brides do.

To be honest...before I started planning my own wedding I had no idea of all the expenses, the amount per person that you pay, and the money spent on weddings as a whole, and the energy it takes to plan a wedding....and a lot of other people are clueless too.

apparently there are lots of rude people out there.. i would NEVER act that way...

i just got one today too. due to 'economy issues'.. one of my closest friends who moved to florida a few years ago. i'm so p1ssed and hurt today, i feel your pain

Oh God I hate people!!! I don't understand those kind of people that cancel for things like that .. I can see something like going into labor (lol) or someone getting sick but a vacation!!!! come on you should really know your work & 'play' schedule before you RSVP to a wedding !!!

I got one last week!!! I was not too happy!!!!
