My lil sis/moh has been in the hospital since last night. They thought it was appendicitis, but now they are not too sure.

All of her levels are up and she is in major pain. They are testing her for all 3 hepatitises, possible colon infection, or maybe her appendix.

They said she would probably be there for a few days and might need a colonoscopy.

I just get so nervous with this kind of stuff. I am leaving work around 2:30 and going to the hospital. Hope I will have a positive update later.

omg my sis had the same thing - they didnt know what it was - it turned out she had to have her gall blader removed

Prayers for your sis!! It made me think of my little sister too!

Also, I had bad abdominal pains when I was younger and it took 2 weeks to get diagnosed. Turns out, I had strep throat, which got into my blood and attacked my heart and I have Rheumatic Fever- but the first symptons are severe abdominal pains!! They thought it was my appendix at first also. Make sure they check for everything.

Let us know what happens.

My prayers are with you, your sister and your family. Denise is right, make sure they do a transvaginal sonogram and check for a cyst on her ovaries...this could be it! I've had them before and they are very painful. Good luck and let us know what happens!
