oh no I hope everything is ok! .. check a gallbladder maybe? I know they couldn't find out what was wrong with my mom and that was what it was, but it took soo long to figure out ..

Sounds like she might have Crohn's disease! I had similar symptoms and it turned out to be Crohn's disease (and it led my appendix to rupture) -- but they can check for Crohns with a colonoscopy.

Hopefully they can figure out what your sis has ASAP!

Thanks guys so much for all your support. I just left the hospital and they still do not know anything. Her colon is irritsted and there is blood in her stool. The poor girl looks like she is going through labor pains. Every 20 minutes she she gets intense pain and can't move. The dr.'s are idiots there and each say something different. If she is not better tomorrow they will do a colonoscopy. I will let you all know when I know more. Thanks again guys

Please keep us updated on how she is doing and we'll keep praying for her.

Just read your update -- sorry to hear she is still in so much pain. It is so frustrating that they just dont' have an answer.

Sounds like chron's but it could also be IBS. I have had BAD flare ups from it.

If you don't mind me asking which hospital is she in? If she is in a hospital that my doctor is affiliated too I would happy to recommend him.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I agree with Denise the Cyst is a definite possibility.. I had an ovarian cyst burst a couple of years ago and the doctors thought it was either my appendix or gallbladder and it turned out to be a big cyst. I hope you sis get's better soon!
