First Wedding Nightmare of 2003!!!!!

Okay, well because of this nightmare, I was late to work today!

EVERYTHING went wrong!!!

Here it goes:

Lets start with the fact that my ringbearers showed up at my house without showering, they needed to shower and my bathroom was a disaster. My parents wanted to redo it for my wedding and ran out of time!

Then, my MOH asks me, what happened to the hair style you wanted to go with? I turn around and my hair is all down. Because I had it curled early in the morning, by that time, the curls were just kinda dangling there, with my head piece loose as anything! So she starts with the curling iron to spruce it up a bit!

We get to the ceremony, where the church, had me wait half way up the aisle so my dad can meet me there. As we walk up the altar, my veil starts sliding off!! Once we're up there, they made me put my blusher over my face and then my dad had to take it off! We had the ceremony, with NO RING EXCHANGE!!!

Anyway, I was mortified! Sorry so long! I just needed to get it out so that I don't have to worry about it all day! Dreams like this have me panicking for weeks!

Now that I read it, I guess it was no big deal, but I'll tell you it was the worst sleep I've gotten in weeks!

You POOR thing !!!!!!!!!!
I had my first Wedding Nightmare last week. Phew, I'm glad I havent had anymore since. They are truly traumatizing !!!!!!!

But at least. . . . it's just a dream

ahhhhh..

I had a nightmare as well but get this it was a wedding nightmare but the bride and groom werent me and brian. My MOH is my best friend and she is on and off again with this guy I hate. THe nightmare was me walking down the aisle in regular clothes and a bouquet and at the alter was my MOH and the guy I hate getting married by my priest.

I agree. I am glad they are nightmares..if they were real, Brian and I would be pulling up at the hunka hunka burning love drive thru wedding chapel getting married by rev. elvis in Vegas

At least we're not changing all our plans based on our dreams, cause in my nightmare, I never finalized w/the florist, and didnt have a bouquets or centerpieces for my wedding

LOL! Liz, I had that dream too! In mine, we ended up with little glass vases and 3 red carnations for our centerpieces! LOL!

I just had one last night! Burtons forgot to deliver the flowers

So they had to improvise with plastic ones

Then the whole train of my dress ripped and we had to stitch it in the uggliest way imaginable!

My nightmare is always the same - I forget to book the hair and makeup person. And something is always majorly wrong with my dress. I woke up so freaked yesterday it was scary!

OMG, i thought i was the only one. FH thinks i am crazy. Had mine on New Years Eve (hmmm, perhaps too much champagne?!). I didn't havea veil, all my nails had broken off and i hadn't showered or even brushed my hair. plus, we never wrote our vows and the flowers never showed up!!! and i cannot remember, but something went wrong with the music (maybe there wasn't any). ACKK. It was really scarey. worse than those finals nightmares!

I've had some pretty bad nightmares about my wedding day also, like wearing a huge tiara that covers my whole head or a horrible hairstyle. My favorite was the one I had that I started walking down the aisle and realized I was only wearing my undergarments and NO dress

I think it's all nerves and the stress that comes with all the planning and wanting everything to be perfect.

Lol-I had a wedding nightmare just last night. I was getting ready for the wedding at my old high school (don't ask). All I had on was my crinnolin slip-I couldn't find my dress!! Then I was worried that I couldn't find my toothbrush so I was asking students for Listerine pocketstrips. I hadn't showered and the ceremony was an hour away,
I think I was topless too

And then I woke up...
