My FH and I picked out our inviations a while back, i was just waiting to order them...it was a self mailer pocket fold that was silver. Since it was silver I didn't want to do clear labels since you could see them. So i planned on doing digital caligraphy using the company that is doing my invitations. But when I called today i was told they can't print on the pocket folds and that the size of this invite didn't have any corresponding envelopes. So i started to go nuts trying to find caligraphers but luckily i stopped myself. I didn't want to spend a lot on invites...so i had to step back. FH and I decided to go with another invite. Now I am totally stuck again! This stinks! I guess it's the first snag in many to come!

Re: first wedding snag
Honestly, I've never even noticed if there's a label on the invite...it's not like i'm not going to go to someone's wedding because they used labels!!
my suggestion is, if you really want to get over this snag quickly, use label and don't think about it ever again.
as always, this is my opinion, and you are of course free to do whatever you want.

Bummer that what you liked didn't work out, but there really are soooo many different ones out there. Don't worry! You'll find the right one and love it.

Re: first wedding snag
Try www.stephita.com for nice pocketfolds. They also will do the addresses for you. The only thing is they take a little while to ship, but you might have time if you act fast!

Re: first wedding snag
I say use the labels and go with the invites you wanted. Don't cause yourself more stress for something that nobody will notice. You're getting worried that people probably won't even notice. You notice because you're the bride. If you're going to stress... save it for bigger more noticeable things.
People are going to be happy to be part of your day regardless of if you took the time to handwrite their name or print it on a label. And if they do have issues with that... they seriously need to reprioritize.

Re: first wedding snag
Thanks girls! FH and I are in the process of just picking out another one. As for the labels because the envelope is part of the invitation I feel the label will be on the persons fridge...it's not like an envelopes you tear open and throw away.. if it was that i wouldn't care...but I'm doing this nice invitation and everyone would stare at a label. (yes I know my own personal issues lol) so a new invite it is!!!
