This is really tough to type this as I'm thinking about it. It's really hurting me. Right now this is supposed to be the happiest time of my life and now it's shattered. Even now with the upcoming job and move, it doesn't mean anything anymore.
After dropping off my best friend/MOH at work (we work 2 blocks away), I got a call and it was Rob. He told me to sit down for this as he is ready to tell me what is going on. He's got colon cancer! He's been having it for a few months but hid it from me because he doesn't want me to be stressed or be a burden to him. He now felt now is the right time to tell me this but even with this it is breaking his spirits. He told me that is as if G-d played a trick on him just as things are now in place. The doctors told him it has advanced to his stomach. I'm litterly crying about this because I feel as if he is giving up and I want him to fight for this. I already had dealt with this before and sadly that person died too. I don't want to lose the love of my life to this either. I'm trying to be strong but I can't.

Now that I decided to postpone, I am wondering what am I gonna do with the dress. It's already here and I don't know how long will I have it postpone. They are holding until the orginal date (10/5/08) and after that I don't know what I will do.
All I want is FI to be okay. I'm leaving on Sunday, which would only give me one day to set up house in PA. My family is very upset about it but they understand that I wanna go down there.

i am sorry to hear about the doctor's prognosis but that doesn't have to be reality forever. i willbe praying for both you and FH for a swift recovery and a long happy life for the 2 of you. have a safe trip and stay positive. positive thoughts become positive words and positive words provoke positive actions/ outcomes.

i am so sorry to hear this , it is so sad, i will say prayers for you both, are they going to start treatment? honestly i dont know what to say, except try to be strong, and if you need to talk or just vent fm me anytime, i will also have the church pray and light candles for him. again i am so sorry, sweetie.
