Has anyone done this or thinking about it? I am definitely thinking about it, I would like a platform wedge flip flop since I'm short and this would be a lot more comfortable than heels all day.

I'm hoping to find comfy shoes. I can't dance in flip flops! Whatever you get should be the same height as your nice shoes so your dress doesn't drag!

same here...I am giving my bm's flipflops....and I was just thinking about getting the same pair as them...but not sure yet

I bought flip flops for myself. No one can see them under my dress..They're 1/2 an inch or an inch shorter than my dress, can't remember. I'm afraid my dress will drag a little, but at least no one will see them, lol

These are on sale on amazon right now really cheap!
I changed into flip flops like these about an hour before the reception ended when I realized my toes were a bit numb. I loved my shoes, but not feeling my toes was not so great.

I'm wearing them as my 'something blue'. I'm 5'9 and the same height as FH, so I hate wearing heels and being taller than him. It's kind of a running joke with my family/friends bc I always wear flip flops every chance I get. So they wouldn't be surprised when I come walking down the isle in them LOL

I like theballet slipper Idea too. I think I might do that. But either way I am deff not wearing heels the whole time.

I am definitely going to be changing into flip flops when I start dancing (there's no way I will last in heels the whole night!)
I haven't decided if I should just go for flat flip flops and deal with my dress dragging on the floor or get platform ones - I will probably wind up with the flats.

ok, so I just posted these on the '11 board, but I realllly like these! I was contemplating wearing flip flops the entire time like I said earlier, and these are pretty elegant for flops!

If i could have i would have just wore flip flops the whole time but I couldnt so I chagned into flip flops after my 1st dance and these are the ones that I got ... they were comfortable and what i liked the best about them was that they were they same height as my shoes so my dress was not dragging on the floor.
