Hey ladies.. just wonderin if anyone has booked with or met with florists yet..
I met with my 1st florist today.. they were very nice and said that we can put money down to hold the date whenever we want but obviously wont be signing a contact or making decisions until we know our colors and all.
What types of quotes were you guys given and what did it include.. just wondering bc i have no idea how much flowers cost
They est about 3800 for everything..

I Havent booked yet, but the places Ive went to Have asked me what my budget was and they worked around it. For Something Glamorous with a high vase on the table, they said about 110.00 each table. On my bouquet they said 100.00 . On the guys Single rose about 8.00 or so. The main cost is the Centerpieces, I'm probebly going with a 50.00 arrangement sitting on the table, Go to a few places, they can ball park it.

It all depends on what you are looking for. I have been quoted b/w 3500 and 4500 for the following:
high centerpieces for about 12-15 tables w/ crystals (I'm doing something a bit more dramatic) my bok 7 bm bok ringbearer pillow made out of flowers rose petals for flowergirls 10 boutineers small bok for the 2 moms ceremony decor around gazebo orchids and bows on chairs flowers for cake and 40 floating rose buds for ch

Bridal bouquet: 135 (think he said I get 2) Bridesmaid : 85 Groom: N/C (he'll get 2 boutonnières) 5 Boutonnières, 45 (for FOB,FOG, and my son) 2 Corsages 46 (MOB,MOG) 2 small corsages 36 (Grandparents) 10 Altar Arrangements 150 Gazeebo Enhancements 200 (headboard/siderails) Will not charge for Arbor if weather is bad all the rose petals I want :) they'll go along the runner for ceremony, in little pouches for throwing, around cake table. He is also going to do my grass table for the escort cards. <-- that will probably be extra. 14 centerpieces 630 (tablescape with center bowls)
A total of $1441.45 including tax. The tablescape he actually drew up from my ideas, they'll be hurricane vases with sand, shells, flowers and candles in them. A mix and match. Loven Oven Floral Designs. I think I got a great price.

I got different quotes:
$5000 at one place
$3500 at another
$3200 at another
we wanted my bouquet. 4 for bridal party. 5 boutonnieres for FH and his party, 1 more for my son and 1 for my dad. a little flower ball for my flower girl, 2 clutches for the moms. Tall centerpieces with orchids, callas, etc. with a tall glass vase with flowers and water. Chuppa, isle roses/
