FLORIST COSTS

hi everyone.. just curious. how much does a florist cost these days?

We paid 4200.
17 tables, bo-k, personals, etc.

Depends on florist. We are paying 3800 for Bayview Florist but if we went with B*rtons it was around 2500. We went with the more expensive ones because flowers are very important to FH's mother and she's paying for them...so she gets what she wants and I want everything to be perfect :)

B*rtons quoted me about $1400 for my BoKs and CP (they were low with a hurricane candle in the middle)

we're paying just over $2000 for:

-20 low cps
- ceremony decor
- 4 corsages Mothers/ Grandmothers
- Bouts for Dads & Grandpas
-Bridal bo-k & bridal toss bo-k
-2 MOH - bo-k
-4 BMs bo-k
- 3 JR BMS bo-k
- FGs petals for basket & sweetheart rose halos
- heavy pillows of rose petals for cake take, card table, guest book & escort table

edited to change price, I looked at my quote again & it's 2050, not 2500 I feel like I just saved $450 The florist is a pleasure to work with & the shop only does one wedding a weekend... I forgot to add that I am providing my own vases for cps which I will most likely purchase from Ikea. HTH

Im paying 2k but I kept cost down by buying my own 28 trumpet vases, lights and crystals (that cost me an additional 700 but if I had the florist do it it would have been an additional 1k) I have 10 tables and flowers are for high centerpieces

Yep $4k here too:

20 Centerpieces consisting of three cylinder vases with the tallest one with a floral arrangement on top, one of the others is filled with crystals and an LED light and the other a floating candle

Girls' Flowers:
Bride's bouquet,2 Maid of Honor Bouquets,6 BM bouquets,2 FG baskets
Corsages for MOB & MOG
Corsages for the grandmothers

Guys' Flowers:
Boutanierre for the Groom, 2 Best Men and 7 Groomsmen & Father of the Groom

and miscellaneous items like rose petals for church, at the hall & candles and rose petals in the ladies room, etc.
