Florist question
Ideally, when are you supposed to have this booked?

Re: Florist question
depends on your ideals...i would've liked to have had all vendors booked by september so that the rest of my planning was all tidbits and favors, but FH wouldn't help plan anything and wedding planning sat rather dormant for months. I'd say about 6 months before the wedding...though some girls book that FIRST.

Re: Florist question
I have 7 months to go.. We are just getting two arrangements for the church, one centerpiece for our dais and then the my Bouquet and the BM's Bouquet. I better get on this task this month!

Re: Florist question
i booked 9 months in advance, but waiting up until 2-3 months before is usually not a problem.

Re: Florist question
I booked mine 9 days after I was engaged (almost a year ago)... only to cancel that florist and book another two weeks ago that I liked better! Just go to Flower Michele and save yourself time. You don't need to look any further... after all - he was good enought to make me stray from my original florist! AMAZING flowers, GREAT prices, NICE guy... and a lot of people are big fans on here. Speak to John when you go... you'll love him. Good luck!
P.S. - his work is in my avatar... and that's EXACTLY what I'm getting for my bo-k and my BM's bo-k's.

Re: Florist question
I know there are a lot of girls on these boards that rave about Flower Michele - and I am sure they do a beautiful job. I met with them thinking I was going to book them that day and I walked out and booked someone else a few days later.Definitely look around. If flowers are very important to you I would book as soon as possible so you get who you want and not just who can do it. If they are not as big a deal you could probably wait unti 2 - 3 months before.

Re: Florist question
Thanks.. I really appreciate this girls. The are a big deal.. but being that we are paying for this ourselves.. They have to be moderately afforadable.. I will try Flower Michelle and see what estimate they give us. Thanks again.Welcome New Vendors
