Florist Recommendations?
Hey Ladies!Does anyone have a recommendation for a good florist in Nassau/Queens? I've been looking around but it is SO overwhelming. Essentially, I'm looking for a company that can work within a budget (I don't even know what kind of budget I need TBH) and that can work with my vision of what I'm looking for.
Any help is very much appreciated, thanks!

My planner is doing my florals! she's based in NJ but serves all of NY also! She's pretty reasonable and will work with you. I'll PM you!

I used Simply Elegant Floral Decorators, I highly recommend them... They provided us 10 low centerpieces, 1 bridal bouquet, 1 throw away bouquet, flowers for the cake, flowers for the dais, 3 Corsages, 10 Bouttoniers, Flower Girl Basket,Bridesmaids bouquet,etc... for less than $1400.00. The flowers used were gorgeous, fresh and lasted a week after the wedding. I have some pics on my review...hope this helps you.www.flowersbysimplyelegant.com

I know a few girls used Burtons and Hidden Essence & they were happy with price and the final product.

Thanks everyone! I'm starting to get kind of overwhelmed. My date is at the end of september and I still have to book florist, DJ, and photographer. Plus all the little details like rings, invitations and stuff. AHHH!

Thanks! I'm trying to relax but I think a lot of the problem is that there is another girl in my office who is getting married in May and she is moving so fast with her planing and I feel like I'm getting nowhere.

Dont let other people overwhelm you. Go at your own pace and enjoy it! Like Lauren said, you have plenty of time!

No worries, my wedding is a week or 2 before yours and i still have to book limo and florist, pick an invitation vendor, get bridesmaid dresses, tuxes, etc etc. We still have some time, just keep a checklist and check it often to see what you can get done when you can.

Definitely go at your own pace. You'll be just fine.As for your florist recommendation: try Jennifer at Verbena Designs in Hicksville. I loved her work and she was very reasonably priced when I shopped around.
