I called my florist today to give them the final table count of 17, they didn't answer the phone, so Ieft a message on their machine. Before I called them, I doubled checked my contract which states I get 14 cp's and 2 free if needed, so that would be a total of 16 and I would only have to pay for 1. So they call me back and say that my contract is only for 12 and 2 free ones, so its only 14 and that I have to pay for 3 extra ones and even better they need the money by tomorrow for them, and its going to cost me almost $600 for these.
I am livid when I get off the phone with them, I don't want to give them another dime, I have completely paid them off already and I don't feel I should have to give them anything more. After 2 hours of being annoyed my sister comes to the brilliant idea that I should call my DOC about it and see if she can do anything. My great DOC, said my contract shows the 14 and the free 2, she is going to call them and handle the situation for me. Right now I am soo happy I decided to book a DOC.

UPDATE: My DOC called the florist today and it seems like my contract is very misleading and that its only for 12 cp's and the 2 free, so my DOC argued about it being misleading. I am not having them do the 3 extra cp's, I have something that I can use for those 3 tables already and I refuse to pay the florist, my DOC agrees and told the florist to do the 14 cp's and we will handle the other tables. I love my DOC

they cant possibly go against their contract... maybe the person you spoke to was looking at the wrong contract... cause thats nuts if they try to make you pay more...

OMG!!! u see??? this is what KILLS me about these people!! Theyve pulled crap like this before!!!! YOU GO RUB THAT DAMN CONTRACT IN THEIR FACE!!!!!! theres a reason why it takes them 4o minutes for them to write it up WITH ALL THEIR DAMN QUOTES ALL OVER THE PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so ridiculous. Hopefully your DOC will get things resolved. This is the last thing you need to worry about, being it is so close to your day!!

it kind of stinks that its misleading...but at least you don't have to shell out more money especially so close (i know the feeling! lol)....it great you have such a nice doc who helped you out!

my sister in law used them last year and said they have horrible customer service and were very rude to her. On the upside, her flowers were beautiful the day of the wedding

good to hear!!!!!!!!! im using them too...i dont care if they wanna be rude to me, just bring me beautiful flowers that I asked for and ill b happy!!
and yes they're contract is ridiculous........i read every single word before signing anything at my design session
AND because the flowers i originally said i wanted that they tried to say i couldnt have once i received the first contract (and did not sign mind you) i called, told him EXACTLY what i want in each CP, wrote up my OWN little contract about the CPs and faxed it to HIM to sign!! LOL so thats in my contract now!
they are very wordy...very round about loopholy...i just want pretty flowers!! cant wait to see pics of yours Teri!!
