So...I have to schedule another meeting with the florist to finally talk specifics...and I am unsure of what flowers I want.
I am covering the walls of my RH with white fabric, and then they are putting magenta/fucia lights onto the fabric so that it will create the feel of an all pink ballroom. The bridesmaid dresses are also fucia and my bok will be fucia as well.
Because of this, I want to stay away from too much pink elsewhere (besides little accents here and there)
So, what kind of flowers should I do? All white? Or mix white with light pink? or something different?
any advice would be appreciated!

Re: Flower Advice
I like the idea of covering the walls and then the lighting for a different look. May I ask who is doing that? Is it the florist or the RH?

Re: Flower Advice
our florist is doing that. its a big russian wedding in chicago, so everyone and their mama in the russian community uses that RH. So, when you see all the wedding pictures you immediately know where it is b/c of the walls. I want to do something different so it doesn't look like everyone elses wedding...

Wow it sounds like it will be beautiful there. I would do white flowers with some pink accents for your CPs.

Re: Flower Advice
I'm doing fuschia for my bm's as well.
I decided to do my flowers all white, callas, roses & hydrangeas in a tall crystal glass.
I honestly think that all white flowers would go great for you especially since you're haing the pink lights.

white flowers - you might get some pink tones to them because of the wall lighting which would be really nice....it sounds gorgeous!

Thats what I was thinking, even if I use all white flowers they will kind of look pink from the lights...
I suggest talking to your florist. I really had no idea what I wanted, besides fall colors (with those little red berries) and flush centerpieces. I told the florist the look I was going for (and told her I was on a budget). She was able to create exactly what I wanted (even though I didn't quite know what I wanted). However, this only works with actual florists. I first went into a wedding showroom where I was helped by a salesperson. She had no clue.
