So I met with two florists this weekend. My first quote was $7600!! Today's quote was $6000! Holy crap! I am meeting with another florist on Tuesday & I am praying the prices are better. There is no was I can spend more then $5000. FH will KILL me! I am praying I can find someone in my budget, I really dont want to change my flower vision & FH just doesn't get it

Ooh wow that's crazy!! I have more than that and I wasn't quoted that much..that's crazy!! I really hope your appt tues stays in your budget and waaaay lower than those other quotes! Good luck and don't stress, you will find the right florist at the right price without changing your vision!!

OMG!!! I am dreading going to florists and reading your post almost made me throw up. That is so much money!!!! I only went to one florist (Pedestals) and they wanted $250 for one centerpiece. Now I'm really scared to look at florists. lol
Same here! I think Fh would have had a heart attack if he heard those quotes!
Good luck shopping around! I think you can find a florist that can realize your vision without charging a fortune.

That is absolutely insane. I don't know if you remember, but I wanted all autumn tree limbs and I was quoted 5,200. That was insanely high to me, and I decided that it was time to get over it with the tree limbs. I feel like the quote you were given is absolutely crayyyy. I would get at least 2-3 more quotes and see if that is normal.

I have an appointment with Hidden Essence and Black Dahlia on the 20th. I'm giving them a much smaller budget. I only need 10-12 low centerpieces with hydrangeas and tulips. I got a quote somewhere else for $800 for just white hydrangeas. I thought that was ridiculous.
