smoochie smoochie!!!
i feel like he's gonna be like 'my wife says to please leave me alone!'
glad you answered cause i really love how those bo-k's have a great 'eggplant'-'wine' feeling to them. now that i've seen my girls' dresses on film...i feel like i want to deepen their bo-k's a little from what i originally had.... not sure if dahlias are able to be gotten that time of year (looks like a fall flower).... hmmmm........
ooh- I see what you mean...the dahlia has that nice purplish tone to it....I think it would look great...
and you know, the 'Black Dahlia' was kinda famous back in your theme days....dahlias are definitely a throw back to glamour flower....

Re: Flower Experts?
i grow dahlias all summer in my garden, so i wouldn't be surprised if the florist could get them from a greenhouse. very pretty!

It doesn't look like a dahlia to me, but it's kind of hard to see in the picture. George showed me dahlias and they were just a little bit bigger than carnations. Also the petals themselves looked like itty bitty calla lilies all bunched together without a center (like carnations have no center).

Thanks... I'll just end up asking him. I feel like he was leading me down this path but I halted it....
