flower girl?

flower girl?

I am a little confused about my flower girl walking down the aisle. She is 9 years old & I'm not sure if she should walk down with a basket or a small bouquet. What is everyone else doing?

Ours are 4 & 2 and have a basket with petal. We have a 12 y/o junior Bridesmaid and she has a bouquet. If she is mature I'd do a bouquet otherwise a basket if your church allows you to throw petals.

I think the basket is still cute with an arrangement in it. My flower girl is too young for one so she has a kissing ball, you could use that too so she's different from the bridesmaids.

Our flower girls are going to have the baskets, but they are 2. We're still not sure if they can throw petals, but I love the idea of the lil baskets.

Our flower girls will be 3 and 5 at the time of the wedding and they will be carrying kissing balls. Our church does not allow petals to be thrown so I didn't want to give them a basket with nothing in it or give them petals and hope they don't throw them.

I feel so silly right now, but what are kissing balls? My church will not allow my flower girl to throw petals and i have been trying to come up with something else for her!

Don't feel silly! I was calling them a flower ball before I knew the actual name. Here is a picture of what they look like. I think they can be made with any flower.
