I had two flower girls that were 5 & 7, but their parents just told us that they would not be able to make it to the wedding (less than three months before the wedding). I really want to have a flowergirl and the only other little girl that we know is 9 years old. Is that too old for a flowergirl?

Its whoever you WANT as a flower girl! Special people dont change with their age- does that make sense?!

We won't have a flower girl, because the only one who could do it is my niece and she will be 10 or 11 by then. It really sucks, but what are you gonna do. We're still going to have her as a Jr. bride's maid though.
Not sure if her brother should be Jr. Groomsman or ring bearer.

Mr. Hostility,
What if you had them do both jobs, dressed up like the rest of the bridal party- but she can throw rose petals in church, and her brother, can still hold the pillow and be her partner?

NO WAY!!!!!!!! Mine are 7 & 8 and once you put the 9 year old in a beautiful dress no one will even think that she could be too old. Do it!

Well my ringbearer will almost be 10 and he's fine with that. My two FGs will be 2 and 21mos.
