Ok so we're going to order the BM dresses on Sunday (yippee!!!) and my 2 FG's who are both 2 1/2 years old right now will be coming.......some people said I should wait to order but I'm too paranoid and with 7 months to go, I want to order them now!
What do you think of these 2 dresses? I'm undecided on whether the sashes will be chocolate brown or a champagne color (depending whether I want them to match the BM dress or their sash).
Does it matter if the FG dress has pickups and my dress doesn't & neither does the BM dresses???

Both of the girls will be 3 (just about) at the wedding- I like them both- I don't know which one to pick!!

Ooooh Helen, I just realized! Did you know they make FG Jr BM versions of your BM dresses? Not sure if they make it for the wee ones but it's worth checking out!

thank you Tara!!! that was so sweet of you to look that up!!! I actually saw the mini version in taffeta at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place....I guess b/c the girls will be so little I wanted something w/ more poof!! lol But thank you so much for looking for them!

Dress #1 is adorable--- So what if your dress doesn't have pick ups? But I think you should have her sash match the BMs in that case (since traditionally the FG matches the bride)--- so there is continuity to the wedding party.... If no one matches then it will look odd. (i am doing something similar to that too)

I like #2 - I picked the same for my little niece. neither I nor my BP have that meshy layer on our dresses so I thought 2 matched better. IMHO

I like #1 more..... thin straps on a toddler just looks a bit odd to me.... I agree with others that there will likely be a strap slippage factor in #2.
