Flower Girl Dress question...

Hi... I'm having a problem about finding a place to purchase our flower girl dress. I would need someplace in Suffolk County, and the only places I can pull up that carry this brand are PZAZ in Smithtown, Ragamuffins in St. James, and Adrienne's in Islip. I'd rather purchase the dress at a shop that has a good rep, and as far as I know, PZAZ is just a clothing store, Ragamuffins I haven't heard anything about, I think they carry all little kids clothing, and Adrienne's from what I hear is not good. Does anybody know anything about these stores? Thanks!

Flower Girl Dress question...

Did you look into Commack Wedding Center..Also does it necessarily have to be from a bridal store.. I don't know what you are looking for or when your wedding is.. but with Easter coming up there will be a ton of frilly little girl dresses out.. at all the department stores and even target.. Laurie

Flower Girl Dress question...

I have a specific dress that I want. It's from Jessica McClintock. It's definitely not your average flower girl dress. It has an organza overlay, with a full skirt, it's lavendar with flowers all over. It's very pretty. It will go great with the Victorian Lilac Bridemaids dresses. I don't like the typical FG dress style. I don't want a Mini-Bride. The style of the dress has a summer look to it, and since our wedding is August 31, 2002, I think it'll be very pretty. The stores I listed are the only one's I've hears of that carry that brand in Suffolk County. Thanks for the input!!! It's hard to get something else, when you've found one you really, really like.

Ragamuffins is a wonderful store. I've bought lots of things for my nieces there and have had very good experiences. Good luck finding what you want! : )

Jessica McClintock

I don't know if this helps you, but there is a Jessica McClintock boutique in the Roosevelt Field mall (Nassau County). If you can't get there, maybe they can order the dress in the size you need ship it to you.

Jessica McClintock

Is there??? That would be great! How would I get her fitted into a dress? Is it like BMs dresses where you need to get measured, fitted, altered? Or do you just try on the dress and get what fits, and then you don't get alterations? Thanks everyone!

Jessica McClintock

I was in the store the last time I was at the mall - it looks like they would do alterations if you needed since they sell bridesmaids gowns, prom dresses, etc. You should give them a call and find out if they could get the dress you need if they don't stock it.

Well, I called Ragamuffins and JMC Boutique...

Ragamuffins said they don't carry her Flower Girl dresses, and JMC Boutique in the mall can get it, but they do not do alterations. Oh well. Maybe I'll see if the bridal store I'm getting my dress from will do the alterations on the flower girl dress if it's needed. We'll see. Thanks again!

flower girl dresses

Hi Melissa! :) I got my flower girl dresses at Ragamuffins in Huntington. They have a great selection! They also had a beautiful lavander dress there just last month. They have a website....it's www.ragamuffins-children.com . Also, if you know the size of your flower girl, why don't you just order the dress off of the Jessica McClintock website? You can always get alterations done somewhere. Just wondering...how old is your flower girl? Good luck finding the dress!! melissa :)

flower girl dresses

My flower girl will almost be 5. I don't know her size either. How would you suggest I go about finding out her size? All dresses are different, so I don't know how I could find out her size if she goes to a store to try some on. Do flower girl dresses need to get altered, or are they different than the BM dresses, and fit just right? Thanks!

Flower Girl Dress question...

Check out eBay. They have so many dresses from distributors. Also, Bid and Tucker on Rt. 111 in Smithtown is very good.
