I have only one thing left to do and that is to book a florist! I already know what type of arrangements I want, I just need help picking out a florist. This is the only thing that is driving me crazy.. Help!!!
Here is the situation.... My FH and I are paying for this wedding ourselves and we have to be economical... We really don't want to spend a lot of money on flowers that are only going to die after a while... If anyone has suggestions please let me know .... Thanks a lot..

Christine: A couple of thoughts: 1. Have you considered floral alternative. CKGMwedding did some creative DIY stuff as did Belle for her nautical theme. 2. If you are willing to do some of the work yourself, you should drop a line over to Kimberlybride -- the nicest person ever, she did her own flowers for her e-party and figured out ways to order them and stuff -- she posted pics you should check out. 3. Candles and mirrors and rose petals; cheap and elegant 4. If flowers are how you have it envisioned -- Burton's does everything for one price no matter what....worth investigating. Good luck!

We are also on a budget. So I know what you are going through. Non flower centerpieces as Deb said is a nice alternative. If you really want flowers, we checked out Burtons and LA Blossom. Burton's ( although inexpensive) was a little too wedding factor like for us. Theysaid they do 30 weddings in one day. We ended up going with LA Blossom. She asked us how much we wanted to spend and created a package to meet our needs. It was great. Check her out if you haven't. Good luck with your search.

Flowers by Burton...didnt get the flower factory feeling from them at all...as long as they show up on time (and every review ive ever read they have) i could care less how many other weddings they have!

Re: Flower HELP!!!!!
I really did not want to spend allot on floweres, my friend had a wedding and her floweres were so nice. I used a guy in college point his name is Georgie and he is so nice and he is inexpensive. He will work with you. Tell him Cathy from Christies sent you the # is 917-482-6735. He can copy anything for 1/2 the price.

Re: Flower HELP!!!!!
my stepmom works at coldwater creek and got these little faux flower vases for centerpieces at a ridiculous discount. now here's the catch, i really don't like them, but since i'd rather have a nice photographer, a nice bouquet to hold, and good food, centerpieces that are to die for don't make the cut. so i guess my advice is to get creative and either make something (not to hard to do rose arrangements with all the bulk order rose websites) or have a friend hook you up. they don't have to be fresh flowers either! so many girls on here are making cute, non-flower pieces to go with their theme!

Deb you have got to be the sweetest and most helpful person on here. You are so awesome. This board is better because you are on it.
I am going to agree with everything Deb said about flowers. There are so many ways to save. I ordered flowers wholesale for so cheap and made pretty rose and hydrangea arrangements with my Mom. But I am sure making arrangement the week or your wedding will be way to hectic. I have heard many woman rave about the price and service of Burtons. Also check out Laurie from LA Blossom. Good luck! Here are the arrangements I made:
