okay ladies, im starting to make appts with florists,
is anyone mcuh better than others?

ive heard alot about burtons, does anyone have their number?

also, what should i be making sure is included, any specific questions or things to remember to ask them?

Hey hall twin how are you??!!

I went with Flowers by Brian also. I was very confident with their service and flowers at my initial meeting and the price was reasonable.

Flowers were awesome the day of. Couldn't have been more happier!

What rooms are you having at VYC?

i would bring pictures of any ideas you may have (BM dresses, color or theme choice, centerpieces you like, etc).

you should find out if the delivery costs extra

if you're jewish, find out if they have a chuppah and how much it costs

don't forget to negotiate ... i got an extra $200 off because i told the guy that i don't mind if the BM's bouquet's are slightly less full (eg: use less flowers)

I absolutely love Flowers and Designs by Gina. She was so reasonable for what we got, and people are still coming up to me to say how beautiful the flowers were.


questions to ask, things like
what flowers will you be using
is there a delivery fee
are you familiar with my reception hall
will you be able to do a sample for me
is there a rental fee on the stands
will people be able to take the flowers home
when will you be making the flowers (some do it day before, some day of, some a few days before)
is there anything thrown in (cake flowers, toss bouquet) or are those extra
will they bring extra things like boutonnieres just in case
who is the florist (if using a company with multiple florists) who will be doing my flowers


My Recommendations:
bring a list of flowers you dont want
have an idea of styles you like
if you have chosen your gown and BM gowns, bring pictures, it will help with style of flowers
