I am curious what type of centerpieces would look best on the round tables. Also, did anyone add flowers to the cocktail room tables? Thanks...

I have one more florist appointment but I think I am going to get high spiral centerpieces with votives up the stand. I am having 3 dozens roses. I thought the room needed a little color. The spiral stand makes it easier for people to see each other across the table. I am getting roses to float in the bowls that Flowerfield provides for the tables. The florists I have met with have said they would throw these in for free. Flowerfield said they have between 31 and 35 cocktail tables.

What I did ....

For my October wedding at Flowerfield-- we got married during the day -- and I wanted a fall theme-- so my florist made these great centerpieces .. They were round and were made up of 8 terracotta pots in various sizes-- the pots were done to look gold-- ( antique) the flowers were all bright fall colors-- and the best was each guest could take a pot home with them !! We got such rave reviews.. For the cocktail room -- we put gerber daisys in the floating bowls-- in bright fall colors. One note-- Just remeber how ornate the ballroom is -- dont go crazy with flowers-- you really dont need to ... Good Luck !

I only booked my video/photo so far. I booked with Imagine Studios. I haven`t booked the florist yet. I looked at 2 florists so far. Flower Michele was great and John had the exact idea of what I wanted. I looked at Pedestals too and they don`t break anything out for you so I don`t know if they were charging me for the floating flowers or not. There estimate for everything was $400 more. The gentleman from Pedestals had never seen Flowerfield so it was hard for him to give me ideas. I have one more appointment on Saturday. Hopefully, I can finally make my decision soon. What have you booked so far?

I pretty much have a lot booked. The only thing is the limos. I booked someone for flowers that works close with Sugar Magnolias. She works from her home. If you didnt book band/dj, that seems to go pretty quick. Good luck!!
