HEY BRIDES!

So my FH and I booked our venue a few months back, FLOWERFIELD in St. James, Long Island.

I want to know everything you gals can tell me!

Good/Bad reviews and ay suggestions!

You picked an excellent place! My brother got married there 8 yrs ago and it was amazing! I would have picked there if he didn't get married there. I also had 2 friends get married there. The place is gorgeous and the food is amazing!! I don't have one bad thing to say about Flowerfields!

Flowerfield Venue

I have heard nothing bad about Flowerfields, its a absolutely beautiful venue, I go there for events for my job and its great, I have never been to a wedding there but I have friends that have and they rant and raved about it :)

jgold910 got married at flowerfield exactly a year ago! It was gorgeous!! She had the outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour in the atrium and the ballroom looked amazing. The coctail hour food was incredible!! My fave was the mashed potato bar :) I actually looked there to book but it was out of my price range.

Attended a wedding a few years back. Absolutely beautiful and the best food I have ever had at a wedding. The couple actually had an extended cocktail hour instead of a formal sit down dinner. We were eating all night long and the options were endless.

never been there for a weeding ..we do go to look at the place and it is stunning it was just out of our price range..both you girls chose a great place..enjoy

I am also getting married at flowerfield! I heard nothing but positive reviews and it's so beautiful and unique that it's guaranteed to be amazing. I also went to a food tasting there, the food is out of this world!! You won't regret booking there, i know i'm not :)

I didn't get married there but I did attend one weddings and it was real great! Espeically the cocktail room, wow. They ought to make the cocktail room the main room!

We just attended a wedding there two weeks ago... it was AWESOME! The cocktail hour was amazing.. probably the best one we have ever been to! There was so much food that we hardly ate our dinner! The room was gorgeous and service was great! Congrats!

Curious about what stations they had at the wedding? Did they have seafood?

I just booked Flowerfields for 12/31/14! I am so excited. We are doing a cocktail style wedding. 7-8:30 passed hor'derves, then 9-11 carving station and mashed potato bars with a fish station, filet mignone station, chicken.. the works! Then we will have cake around 11:30, ball drop celebration, then our stations will turn to brunch stations like a waffle bar and omlete bar.

No sitting down, no stopping the party!

@ mcosta618- we are doing the exact same wedding!!! all cocktail style however, we are doing different stations!!!! :) and we are doing the dessert hour!!!! i can't wait to have my flowerfield wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!
