flowergirl baskets/ring pillows

Hello! I want to make my own flower girl baskets and ring beare pillows. Has anyone done this? Do you have any suggestions??

Here's an idea for your flower girl baskets - Easter is almost here - start browsing around at the local stores at all the baskets. You may find something super cute that won't require any work! I got my girls baskets at Pier 1 during the holidays. They are perfect - white with snowflakes and fur around the top in just the right size! the only thing I'm adding are little red roses on each side.

As for the ring bearer pillow - I was going to make one also, but found that they were so inexpensive that it wasn't worth it for the fabric. I got mine at AC Moore when they had a sale.
