can anyone tell me how much to expect to pay for my flowers..i have only been to one florist and i just want to know if i'm getting ripped off..i haven't gotten a quote yet but i'm going to see a sample on wednesday next week..
I haven't ordered my flowers yet, but from what i've been hearing it can range from anywhere between $800 to $5,000! I think it depends on the kind of flowers you're thinking of having. My friend got married in december and had lots of red roses...thus the $5000 price. Another friend got married and spent $3300, and my brother and sister-in-law spent $2000, and then i recently heard of another girl spending $800. I'm going to find out where she went and what she ordered. will let you know if i find out.
I am spending $2200 on my flowers for red & white roses... I have 18 centerpieces (I think) all on pedestals... this price also includes all the girls bo-ks, my bo-ks, the guys, etc... It's a lot of $$$$ but I fell I am getting a good deal...
is that including you centerpieces also?
I've only gone to one florist so far - and the quote i got was for $5200. It depends on what type of flowers you are using AND how many flowers you are having. My centerpieces are going to be chock full of flowers.

I went to one florist so far and i got a quote for $3900 about 25 center pieces, bo-k's etc and (ceremony minimal)
Our florist asked for our budget and worked from there. Deducted the personals and ceremony flowers and divided the balance for each centerpiece we needed and then showed us what he could do with that amount. At that point it was up to us to increase or decrease what we spent.
