i originally wanted a tightly packed ball of roses but got over that idea really quick
in order to get the effect i wanted ( all roses no filler) she would have had to use 5-6 dozen roses! so that would have been $$$$$

Re: FLOWERS
in that case you're better off getting a different type of CP, you can still get dramatic high cp's for a little less

Ok so it's all starting to make sense now
I figured roses = cheap but I guess it makes sense...if they're using atleast 4 dozen
Ugh - this *****

I'm sure your florist will let you pick different CPs, so don't worry. And, I'm sure you will find something else that you are very happy with!

Re: FLOWERS
Call her and ask her exactly how many roses will be included in the centerpiece for $200. If she says 4 dozen maybe you could ask her how much it would be if the centerpiece was smaller and had only 3 1/2 or 3 dozen. Then whatever you do, make sure to get it all in writing in the contract, including the number of roses.

Re: FLOWERS
hydrangeas are expensive...avg at like $15/stem but they do cover more area so you need less of them....
I'm paying about $75 for my low CPs and $95 for my high but they're branches....if I wanted flowers it would have been $125 and that includes the base being filled with fruit and flowers....you have to shop around....$4k is def expensive for roses...I'm sure they'll be beautiful but its still pricey...it also depends on # of tables and stuff too...idk...I can refer you to a few people if u want....GOOD LUCK

you are def right about the hydrangea being expensive...but for every 1 hydrangea you would save 4-5 roses.
