I am pretty much having the same, BUT in June! I think the time of year may have to do with it. May/June is apparently peonies season but since the weather is hot it might end earlier, or so I've been told by some vendors, not all. Depends on where your vendor is getting their flowers too I suppose.

Maybe July is too hot and not the month for them?

depends what roses you're using too. but regular roses are most available all year round. but garden roses are more expensive. so price based on that varies...

I think ranunculus is pretty easy to get spring time but i'm not sure about summer. again it might be on the cusp?. I'm not sure but no one ever brought it up that it'd be a problem to get them and I even saw them in shops... in March!

if its not the season, maybe it jacks the price up... or you just went to a more expensive vendor.


OK. No. My bouquet doesn't look like that. Mines got peonies, no spray roses, no viburnum, different leaves.
I won't recommend my florist because it's all the way out east. Good luck!

those are exactly what i wanted too. but they're not in season (except roses) in november....sigh...
