flowers by brian girls

do you get to view centerpieces the night before your wedding or just the bouquet?

I know they def. said bouquets but I'd imagine they would show u a centerpiece since they start the the day before

They didn't say anything about the centerpieces but I will ask when I go meet with them on the 24th.

they did a bate and switch on me.. They werent going to showme my centerpiece the day before,.. So I told them to throw one together for me.. it had wayyyyyyyyyyy less roses than the sample they made for me in the begging and was all scattered and skimpy.. I was actually very disappointed with them because they have such a great reputation

yeah, joseph told me that if the stephanotis is 'bad' that day, they use fake so i opted to get the baby orchid instead of the stephanotis.

i didnt have stephanotis in my or any of the bouquets bc i was told they always use fake ones...

It's supposed to be bouquets only but when I got there my BM bo-ks were all wrong (My consultant had switched in the middle UGH), and even though they hadn't ordered the right orchids, they re-made them a few times until I was happy. My second consultant had no idea what she was talking about or LIED to me because I said I wanted hot purple roses in my bo-k and I got the same lavendar as the girls and they told me the lavendar is the only purple they have. I had purple Irises though I LOVED the way my bo-ks turned out,

Anyway since I was so concerned about the bo-k's, I asked to see the stands for my CPs since my 2nd consultant had gotten it wrong. So they took me in the back and I saw the stands and all my CPs.

In the end my Bo-k's and CPs were absolutley gorgeous.

They did mess up the mom's corsages. I was so annoyed, but they said in order to fix them they'd have to turn the truck around and I didn't want to risk my church flowers being late over it.

Also, there had been a quinceanera the day before they left a HIDEOUS blue and yellow arrangement on the altar. WHY didn't FBB take it down? It looks SO ugly in the pictures.

So funny! I have an appt the same day at 4p. Also having my wedding at the same hall.

blahhhh i didn't know they use fake stephanotis. I guess I'd rather have them fake than not at all since they are good luck. They told me I would be looking at Bo'k, but I would think they are already starting on CPs, so Im sure i can ask to go in the back and see them.

Yeah I didn't know this either until I got my bo-k, but I kind of like this since I get to keep them

Don't let them tell you that the stephanotis are bad. They almost did this to me and I called 2 other florists and they said that the stephanotis coming out of CA were perfectly FINE! The 2 other florists told me that fake flowers were CHEAPER than the real ones!!!!!!!

FBB wasn't going to tell me that theyy would possibly put fake ones in my bouquet until I confronted them and raised hell. Then I called the other 2 florists and went back. Needless to say, my new consultant was doing a quick song and dance cover up!!!

ALSO....make sure that you DEMAND to see a sample centerpiece the night/day before!!! I saw mine 2 weeks before and what was in the RH wasn't what they showed me. ALSO, make sure that you count the corsages and don't take SH!T from them! They forgot my MIL's corsage and then said to me, 'Do you want us to go make a new one or have enough time to set up your reception hall?' Thank GOD my MIL is understanding and wonderful enough to say to me that the RH was more important than her flowers. I WAS PISSED...then they also forgot the roses petals and votive candles on the placecard table. AND, they forgot the roses for the top of the cake. My Matre'd made them go to the florist down the street from the RH that was still open and buy roses!!!

CYA ladies if you are dealing with FBB!! I know it's too late now for most if not all of us, but I havent been hearing great things from them in the customer service dept!!!

We only saw the bouquets. I was not dissappointed with the flowers day of though.

I know some girls have problems with them, but honestly, I was happy with everything they did (thankfully).

i am really SHOCKED by the negative reviews. maybe it was the person you worked with??? i worked with Joseph and everything was amazing and perfect!!! the CP were exactly what we saw the month prior and the bouquets were perfect the day before. i hope you ladies have the same great experience I had....

We worked with Joseph and had nothing but the best experience with him. I went the day before to see the bouquets. I had asked to see a sample CP, as well, and they totally nailed it - it looked great! You can see the sample one in my 'FBB' album, and you can see the actual flowers in my 'wedding day' album. I'm sorry for all the brides who weren't happy with FBB, but I can say only wonderful things about them - in my opinion, they did an amazing job. Hope you feel the same way! :)

I saw CP's a few weeks ago and we made some changes, so I called and made another appointment to see the changes we made. I think I will tell them I am a little worried since I've been hearing some bad reviews and I hope for their sake that what I see is what I get.
