I booked them. Carmine is wonderful. He made me a sample centerpiece and it was great. I think you will love him.

I didn't book Carmine, but he was great when I met him. The flowers that he gave me to take home lasted more than a week!

Sorry, I had a negative experience w/him and decided to go with National Floral, who beat his price anyway.

I loved him! I didn't book him because he suggested not to yet.
I brought in a picture of what I wanted and he was the only florist that said that I should wait until next year to see what color the flowers come in. Each year the flowers are a little different in color. He said since my wedding wasn't until Sept to come back in May or June and he would make a sample and then I could book him. This way I would know what I was getting. He was the only florist that even mentioned the flowers could be slightly different. He was also the best price and I've seen some of his work which was fantastic!

Hi Christine, I saw a negative post for Flowers by Emil you are the only one with the bad taste can you give me some feed back on this florist I'm going for a flower session scheduled soon, but he told me to wait a while. Alot a girls rave about this florist, Is there any hidden surprises with this florist, I live in Staten Island and a freind of mine suggested this florist, I'm wondering if there is a problem using him.

Christine just had a bad experience when she spoke with him but I can tell you from experience that Carmine is a wonderful person, has great joy in what he does and does out of this world work.

I am using him and although my wedding hasn't happened yet, he has been great to work with. He was really patient with me and made great sample centerpieces. Also, he was the best price I found!

i've met with him as well and would highly recommend him! i didn't book him because i went with a florist that kinda 'designed' a centerpiece for me, and i don't feel like 'stealing' the design to go with someone else.
but he's a VERY close second. if the other florist didn't design the centerpiece, i would most likely go with flowers by emil.

I've heard some good things about the actual flowers but I can tell you I didnt bother after talking to him, he was kinda rude and there were a few others who said the same.

I feel more confident for the ladies that have used him such as Lisa and MrsERod at least there is a positive input I'm a worry bird I stress on quality even if his prices are a bit higger I hope the flowers will last thru the day I have scheduled an appointment with him but It's hard to see him the shop is lways bussy, He told me that they do only 1 wedding at a time I checked with the better business bureau and there is no negative messages about this florist,He also told me there in business since 1925 and he has alot of expeiernce with flowers he him self has been in the field for 37 yrs. I guess Its a positive feeling, I will check your Photo Lisa when I'm at his shop, Just to say Thank you to all of you for your comments, very appreaciated, I will post the example centerpiece Lilliana

Lilliana, if you want I can show you pics from my wedding so you can see how well his flowers stayed all day. You will not be disappointed. He is so wonderful.

I had roses, orchids, etc. and they all lasted the day and more. In this pic you can see mine, MOH & BMs boo-ks.
