i just emailed fox 5 in the Shame section with arnold diaz. he is so good at what he does as far as what i can see on tv. lets see if he gets back to me and if there is anything that he can do.

im not a gina girl but i feel bad for all you girls that have her and have paided and are out the money. i dont know what i would if i was in that spot.

Do all your contracts say nonrefundable deposit? If not I would send a certified letter stating that you no longer in need of her services and that you expect your deposit back in 30 days. Then after you don't hear anything back file a small claims suit with the other girls. Unfortunately, if its nonrefundable then you have to wait till after your wedding bc then its a breach of contract with her being a nonshow which then gives you cause to sue.

Police have no jurisdiction over this sorry.

This thread was started to help girls out. A bunch of vendors and other brides have offered services, help, and materials but I haven't seen any ex-Gina brides asking for stuff on there. If you need something check that out, you might be able to find some help.

she said she bought all the stuff for my wedding and wants to still do it cause i contacted her from my deposit back. I told her a lot of girls are very upset with her and she is very uprofessional not showing up to weddings. She is sticking with the 'i was in the hospital story' and could not contact....... cough cough BS

See that is what makes this all so shady. She is only getting in touch with future brides...make right on what you did wrong yaknow? Whatever the story was, you deserve to be contacted now and get your money back. good luck!! and again im so sorry for the bs you had to deal with!!

I have a wedding booked with her in December. As soon as I found out I contacted her (through email) and cancelled and demanded my money back. She didn't reply. Once I heard this 'story' she was telling about a car accident, I emailed again saying that I know this wasn't the truth and that I wanted my money back or I would look into legal options. She then emails me with the car accident excuse. I know for a fact this is bull since she showed up to a wedding in the morning and dropped off brown flowers then didn't show up for the reception. So what excuse does she have for delievering flowers that are old and brown? What excuse does she have for contacting this bride and ASSURING her that she would be there and then never show? I can't even imagine the type of person that would do that. Needless to say, everyone who has her should DROP HER AS A VENDOR. And hopefully LI Weddings will help the girls who booked with her in forming a law suit since she was a recommended vendor (if not vendor of the year). We should definitely all band together to get our money back or at least discredit her reputation. I gave her $1,000 dollars that I am now out of until who knows when...

Honestly I do not think any of us are going to see any money back without legal action and even then the chances are probably slim.

I have not posted before but this is absolutely ridiculous and all girls need to know what is going on. I received the same email from Gina that all you ladies have received this past Sunday. I spoke with her on the phone on Monday and she went into her whole accident story again. However, I questioned her on it because she said she has been in the hospital for 10 days yet and just got back on Sunday - which makes no sense since the first wedding she missed was on August 21st (well before 10 days ago). She then said that she was home caring for her daughter before that time and was purposefully not responding to anyone because she 'deserved time off.' She is ABSOLUTELY lying to everyone. She said her mom was in Florida during this time so did not know where Gina was - another lie since many girls went to Gina's house and spoke with her mother. The more she spoke, the more inconsistent she was and dug herself deeper and deeper into a hole that by the end of the conversation she was screaming at the top of her lungs (pretty amazing for someone with a collapsed lung, right?). I hung up the phone on her because the conversation was going nowhere. I plan on filing a complaint in small claims court. If anyone has any emails from her from a couple of weeks ago with that same story, would you mind FM'ing me? Future brides....do not believe that she will show up at your wedding.
