I'm so sorry for the girls who are wondering whether Gina will show up to their weddings, and most especially for you girls who had no flowers. What Gina did is inexcusable. If you're in an accident, I can even understand missing a wedding THAT DAY, but I've been in accidents and gotten hurt before and even with deaths in the family maybe your focus isn't on work, but even if you're not up to it you can have someone call the clients on your list. I've been on the way to the ER and calling people and telling them to call my clients. There's no excuse. Especially for the bride she told she had hired assistants for. And now this story that the brother wouldn't let them in? WHAT? Seriously, even if the story marmar tells is 100% truthful, even if we believe the very best of Gina (she was really in an accident, she tried, etc), things do NOT add up. I think whether it's $100 or $1000 you should fight Gina to get every penny of your money back. I'll probably get flamed for saying this, but seriously, sticking Gina seems to me like it's a lot like parking your car overnight with the doors unlocked and your wallet in the front seat. You're kind of asking for it.

The DWI alone, if it is truly her, is enough for me to not want to book a vendor. I would never give someone who would endanger lives like that ANY business. A former LIW bride's brother was the police officer critically injured by a drunk driver a few years ago. Anyone who would risk that is not someone I'd want to give any business to.

I REALLY hope you all get your money back. MaryAnn, PLEASE keep us posted on the court situation.

41 Days later, no resolution, not one phone call, nothing. I have never seen anything like this

I just spent a whole hour reading this whole crazy thread and its amazing to me that someone can think she can run a business like this! I am sooooooo sorry for you girls, I would even be able to begin to know what you are going through.

My boss always used to say to me, make sure your work is in order perfectly so if you got hit by a bus tomorow, someone else would be able to pick up exaclty where you left off. That being said Gina, as a person of business should ALWAYS!!!!! have had a back up plan for these weddings. And I find it hard to believe that she was the ONLY one who sets up for them. Even if she was in an accident, where were all the flowers she ordered, and the staff she hired to help set up for the day of, or ANYTHING. I know for a fact that a florist does not wait until the day before to order a brides flowers, (esp centerpieces).

and marmarwhateveryourname is.... your just to shady. how would she drop your personals off and then not do your centerpieces unles (like someone else said) she got into the accident on the day of your wedding?! and EVEN THEN why did the other people hired to set up for your event not at least show up to the hall w your flowers????? and I'm sorry but you are just causing drama that is not needed. for someone who came on after your wedding was over just to 'inform' people, your just confusing and adding to the mixed up bs that this gina is spewing.
AND furthermore, even if I am not a Gina bride, I have a right to my opinion and the reason this board was put into place was so that past brides can help future brides. There are no rules as to who can write on here and who cant. Whether you were real or not, is not the issue. The issue is this woman is still trying to run a business that is shady and criminally wrong! and we need to stand by our friends and make sure that other people are aware of her mistakes of ruining one of the biggest days of a womans life.

You girls should contact Fox 5 New York {Shame, Shame, Shame} reporter Arnold Diaz about Mz. Gina!
