Re: flowerssss...
We went to Flowers by Brian over the weekend, but that was the first (and thus far only) place we've been. They're expensive, but in line with what we were expecting; but as was pointed out to us, you're really paying for the vases and labor more than the flowers.

the vases... can they just rent them to you or are you purchasing them?
i wont be needing them after the wedding, so it'd be best if it was considered a rental...

Re: flowerssss...
I'm going this Sunday with my mom and MOH to meet and book with Flowers by Gina. She gave me an amazing quote via email with the pictures I sent her and she is going to have a sample centerpiece made up for me when I go!
So many girls on here have used her and I haven't heard a single bad review and everyone says she is their favorite vendor to work with.

I've met w/ Flowers by Brian, Flowers by Gina, Flower Barn, and a few other places mentioned here. The most expensive quote so far was FBB but then again, they are a major vendor that caters almost exclusively to weddings and employ a large staff.
Met w/ Gina - she is a sweetie and can FM anyone w/ details. Her CP's were kinda high, $ 135 for tall CPs, and bridal bouquet was $ 165 . My total package w/ Gina was around $ 1300. My total package for FBB was almost $1800. My lowest quote was from Hidden Essence (under $1K).

I asked about that - apparently guests tend to take flowers home with them and thereby take the vases too. And that whole getting them back thing is next to impossible apparently, so they just sell instead of rent.

Does anyone have GIna's address?? IT's not on the website.
She works out of her home so I don't think she gives out her address until you make an appt. with her. That's how i got the address. She is located in Fresh Meadows

Gina is only require a minimum of $100 deposit to hold the date so that is what we plan on leaving. The rest is not due until a week or 2 weeks before the wedding.

Yeah, I just talked to her. I was trying to figure out why I had never seen a storefront for her in FM, but the fact that she works from home explains it, lol.

Re: flowerssss...
There is no store for Gina - she operates completely out of her home's garage in Fresh Meadows.
When you meet with her, she prepares samples for you and then shows you lots of pictures on her computer monitor while discussing how she would do the arrangements.
